I tried the A5 coding and it works fine. I have 3.2 in my ID.4.
I tried enabling "capacitive steering wheel" in module 13 but I'm getting "Something went wrong. Try again". Any ideas?

I saw that the security code had to be entered in previous posts.
Seems I got "databus missing message" and it completely turned off both ACC and Travel Assist. Fortunately it was solved by turning it off and clearing the fault.
Still unsure if I have capacitive wheel or not... Probably not.

I have done quite throughout work figuring out how to check if you have capacitive steering wheel or not. I also have changed mine by myself. VW won't install those without travel assist. You can check it also from gateway module -> realtime data -> steering wheel touch recognition. There you can see how it recognizes the touch. It works without travel assist if you have capacitive steering wheel. It has been mentioned many times that car will throw you lot of permanent errors to dashboard if it is coded incorrectly either way(with capacitive wheel car coded that you don't have one..).

Thank you for the info! What am I looking for here though? It's giving me valutes of 254 for each sensor and status just says "initializing". I tried squeezing the wheel to see if any values changed but the values and the status are not changing.

That means you don't have capacitive steering wheel. The values should change when you touch wheel. It recognizes touch with 3 thresholds: no touch, light touch, heavily gripped. I attached screenshots after my wheel change.

I’ve just got my 2023 id3 family and the coding seems to be slightly different

I’m not sure if the coding is the same that has been advised on the previous posts?
Any help in changes to activate travel assist and emergency assist would be great full.

Hi guys. I have an Id4 X Pure+ with ACC not activated. I'm new to this. My original code is A5: 00 06 30 2E 15 10 08 50 06 24 20 00 00 ....
If I change to 00 08 30 2A 15 01 10 E4 16 24 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 will result? Please help me with these codes

Is there any way to increase the sensitivity of the steering wheel. I mean that it reacts faster to small movements. Not when steering but for the TravelAssist

Respected colleagues,
I have changed a front radar sensor in the VW ID.3 because it was damaged when I had a minor front bumper crash.
I have installed a brand new radar sensor, made dynamic calibration with an ODIS software, but ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) do not work. Wiring is OK. I can communicate with radar sensor. Lane assist works fine, but Cruise Control and distance control not.
Both A5 and 13 modules have the same error: "U112100: Databus missing message".
Module 13 coding is: 050318F34071404512474008000040C5AF4020000000000000000000000000
Module A5 coding is: 0008302E1F9100E8162420000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Does new Radar Sensor must have some special programming or just long coding?
Please advice.
Best Regards, Dragan

Interesting misterq, where did you get this replacement front radar?
Please let me know if you get this to work. Since i have a radar but ACC is not available from the factory in my Cupra Born, wondering if i can maybe replace the radar and activate ACC or already have the correct radar.

> where did you get this replacement front radar?
I bought the radar sensor directly from the official VW parts dealer in Wolfsburg (Germany). It cost about 530 EUR.
Now I've bought a used radar sensor from a damaged vehicle to try a radar sensor that was previously mounted on the vehicle.
I want to find out if there is a difference in long coding between brand new and used radar sensor.

Alright, please let me know if you find a solution. It might help to create a new forum because this one is about travel assist in general

is it enough to change these parameters to activate the travel assist? I have an Id.3 without a Cruise Control. I have the limiter but no normal (tempomat) Cruise Contorl. Do you know a way how can I enable this feature?

Thanks for all the input on here, travel assist activated and picked up the proper capacitive steering wheel on eBay, about an hour's work in total

I have managed to get travel assist working on my ID Buzz (2023), same procedure as with the ID3/4/5. For now everything is working quite good, except for the capacitive steering wheel that i think i don't have. Anyone know if this steering wheel is the same as the ID3/4 steering wheels, so it would be possible to order one for a ID3 but with capacitive touch sensors?

Hello everyone, nice to join you here in this forum. I got my obdeleven device today so I am very new to it and I have a question I hope you could help me with it. I own a Chinese ID.4 (ID.4 X Pure +) and it comes without ACC, lane assist nor blind spot but it has front assist and I have the button of the ACC on the steering wheel. my question here is it possible to enable the ACC as you already did with your German ID4/ID3? if yes can you please help me to do this step by step? thanks in advance. Hi, could you activate ACC? have the same problem

Hi! Anyone with the 3.2 has activated the capacitive steering wheel and TA? I already have 2.4 with the capacitive steering wheel and TA working perfectly, but I don’t want to lose TA because of 3.2.
There are people in Facebook who say that it’s not possible to code it again after updating to 3.2.
Anyone can confirm? Thanks in advance!

After having updated the Id4 to software 3.2 I have been able to activate the Travel Assist in the A5 module without problem but when coding the capacitive steering wheel it gives me an error that does not even allow the ACC to be activated. I'll keep trying but it would be nice to have the coding of modules 5 and 13 from someone who has 3.2 installed and a working capacitive steering wheel. In case any of you can look at it.

Thank you so much Blistograg!! in the end, I have been able to code it the same as before, with patience because the app sometimes crashes and then deleting the errors from each module. with software 3.2 it is coded and works the same as before.
