Thanks andreask, do you have info about which models this applies to, I want to be ready when the dealer tries to BS me that it does not apply to my car. I think the same module is used in A6, A7, A8 and mine is an 8. The reason I asked in the A6 forum is that the A8 forum is dead!

Hello team, thanks to this thread I was able to activate MA on A6 C8 2021, but my icon on the car is different. Is it just another way of display for MA? Looks like there are no errors, I can disable/enable it via menu or by tapping on the car. I will try to test with paper boxes. Am I right that I should drive with the speed < 10km/h and do not use brake? Otherwise MA will not steer or brake itself? Photo of the screen  |

But would be surprised if it was not available for all models with the same module, which qualifies many of the mentioned models on the same platform. |

For example, it will steer even if you have pressure on the brake. If you're going to test it, be aware the braking is firm, borderline violent. It waits until the last possible moment to brake. |

I can confirm MA coding works on 2021 MIB3 Q8 with the new icon - however Trailer Maneuver Assist is not activating. Will continue to look into this.

I just got my A8 update to 295 so I will give this a try tomorrow.
It has 12 cameras, lidar, acc with lane guide so I think it has everything required.

OK folks, the first setting 09 central electrics, adaptation, manoeuvring assist does not exist on my 2019 A8 with V295 BUT I activated all the others and MA working with brake assistance also working. Not sure about steering assistance as I’m not sure what that does, when it does it or how to test it.
44 Steering Assistance > long coding > byte 2, bit 1 (active)
A5 Driver Assistance > long coding > byte 44 > bit 5 (MA Steering Active)
A5 Driver Assistance > long coding > byte 44 > bit 6 (MA Braking Active)
A5 Driver Assistance > long coding > byte 44 > bit 7 (MA Maneuver assist installed)
19 Gateway > adaptation > installation list > parking assistance > coded
Important note: Make sure to code and swipe the installation button at the same time for the following two steps since they apply to left and right brakes and must be coded the same:
03 Brakes > long coding > byte 10 > bit 0 > active
03 Brakes > long coding > byte 24 > bit 7 > active

Has anyone had luck getting Trailer Maneuver assist enabled on a MY21? MA is able to be enabled without issue (with the new icon).

Hey everyone. New to this obd11 stuff. I have a 19 Q8 prestige and I was attempting to the MA through the instructions in this thread. I ran across a couple of issues with attempting to code as it wouldn’t let me. So I reverted back all the codes I wrote to their original settings but not I get this emergency assist unavailable message. I also get some other fault messages in obd11 but not all of them seem consistent. Anyone know how to get rid of these faults. I believe everything is set back to there original values. I didn’t do a back up when I started(I got excited) but I did go through my history and change everything back to the old values. I see other people have had this same issue. Any help would be great thanks!

On an A6, disconnecting the battery for 10 mins, then clearing all faults after reconnecting was the way to clear the persistent faults.

I try to activate MA in the new Touareg Cr because it has the same units but I block at A5 coding. System don't accept the modification (MA installed)
I have innovision cockpit with park assist and without 360 camera only simple.
Can I activate manoeuvre braking like on some vw ?

Hello guys, after activate manoeuvre assistant and lane assist i have error in 44 module (Power Steering):
U112100 - Databus missing message (COMI_TIMEOUT_ACC10)
manoeuvre assistant is worked, but i cant find options:
19 gateway -> adaptation -> installation list -> parking assustance -> coded (in my car not have this options!)
44 Power Steering -> [LN]_Park_steering_assistant (in my car not have this options!)
44 Power Steering -> [LO]_Activated_variant_of_park_assistant (in my car not have this options!)
now i find in odis backup options:
44 Power Steering -> [LN]_Park_steering_assistant -> [VN]_not_active
but i cant find it, may be u know byte and bit who activate it ?

Hello guys.
I managed to Code maneuver assist on my 2020 etron. But after an error which I couldn’t erase (also maneuver assist) I went to Audi. And they coded it to stock.
Before I was at Audi maneuver assist worked and also stoped but itself.
After being at Audi I coded it again. It also shows it in mmi but don’t stop.
Audi only change bcm ecu in warranty.
Does someone know why it worked before ? ( they also updated a5 ecu from 0295 to 0365)

Not after update of a5 at Audi.
It works but the car doesn’t stop.
I checked every coding and even more. But there is something more to do after update. Which I don’t know

If you are disable ma_steering breaking will work, but maneuvering not.

I've an A6 Avant 40TDI MY2019 (September 2018). I've read that on some cars that does not has the right 0xA5 ECU the braking function can not be anabled. My 0xA5 ECU is:

Braking function is working only on zfas with software version 4KE907107AR, modules with 4KE907107AC can be flashed but it is tricky. We already done full retrofit of MA on Q8, A8 and A7 by flashing units to AR software and MA working fine after that. All codings mentioned here are correct.
My car has 4KE907107C (not AC), is it ok or need SW update ? Thank you

Do I need to follow a sequence? I coded MA on my e-tron MJ 2023. Works but no brakes. Coding STG 03 brakes Byte 10 and 24 not possible with Obdeleven. Wondering if that works with VCDS, anyone knows? I just need the brake part, I don't mind about steering. |
