Hi all, Anyone have working "Maneuvering assist" on their Audi A6 C8? I can get it working, except, it just steers, but not braking. Anyone? Would like to compare my settings with working car's settings. Attachments:

Can you document the coding you had to do please? I know there's some MA settings in A5 (steering, braking etc), so worth a look.

redhat Why You are not able to activate? Is there some error or what? And what kind of car You have? I have A6 C8 with ACC, front camera in windshield (road sign detection) and 360 degree camera installed.

Yes The existing vehicle was A6 45TFSI C8. I have been driving for 5 hours and received Maneuver assist coding, but after selling the vehicle as a symptom of a new vehicle start-off and purchasing an A6 45TDI C8 vehicle, I saw the comments and coded it, but Maneuver assist cannot be activated.

redhat It look like You have activated all correctly. Maneuvering assist working like in this video: This is not traffic jam assist and do not steer Your car on road. Maneuvering assist is to help park your car or to help maneuvering in tight spaces. When I try to park my car in garage, maneuvering assist helps to steer car, to avoid obstacles. But do not brake, so, this is missing piece for me.

The picture uploaded is a picture coded on the old vehicle.
The function is not activated on the MMI screen on the vehicle now.

Found out, that MA is connected with PA (ParkAssist). So, additionally to all coding as written above,
there shall be made adaption as follows:
Module: 19 Gateway
Adaptation: Installation list, specified installations:
- Parking Assistance

redhat thanks for feedback. All is working, MA can be activated, steering is working, except braking at the end. Anyone have working MA in their car? Can You share, please, Your configuration? Or maybe somebody knows and can help how to code proper MA braking function?!

I don’t have "Maneuvering assist" on my A6 C8, but i am quit sure to activate the Braking function you have to code the 03-ABS module.
Unfortunately this is the tricky module to code, since it very limited when it comes to labels in the module.

redhatThe source is me. I was playing around and experimenting with OBD11. So, I found out how to activate MA, except for automatic braking.

Good news regarding the remaining coding for Maneuvering assist
So far I have used the coding from this post, which has been working fine, just without the brake function. (Thanks to Karlis for the initial finding)
Seems like I found the missing bytes in the Address 03: ABS Brakes module
So far I have teste the Brake function with a cardboard box for the front and rear brake function, Both working.
Below is my complete coding including the 03 module.
STG 09 > Adaptation: MAS12843-Maneuvering brake function,activated ,1
STG 44 > coding > Byte 02 > Bit 1 auf "Maneuvering assistant,0=not active / 1=active"
STG A5 > Coding > Byte 44 > Bit 5 auf "MA_sterring,active"
STG A5 > Coding > Byte 44 > Bit 6 auf "MA_breaking,active"
STG A5 > Coding > Byte 44 > Bit 7 auf "MA_maneuver_assist,installed"
STG 19 > Parking assist > coded
STG 03 > Coding > Byte 10 - Bit 0 - Activate
STG 03 > Coding > Byte 24 - Bit 7 - Activate
NOTE!
Address 03: ABS Brakes (J104) has to be coded as a pair. Meaning you have to code/set byet10 & Byte24 at the same time, Or the coding will be rejected. Since they are a mirror of each.
Module 03 - Before coding
Byte 10: 01001000
Byte 24: 00010010
Module 03 - After coding
Byte 10: 01001001
Byte 24: 10010010
I did the coding with VCDS but should be no problem with OBD11…

Nice work! Can confirm this is working on the Q8 as well (I tested with a cardboard box too).
Would LOVE to get Park Assist per this thread (https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/7185/enable-parking-assist) working too, I feel as if these two features are closely related.
Also wonder how closely related "trailer maneuver assist" is (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mus_NWN0vTM)
