somehow after enabling some features, crash detection (the big red attention with a beep) does not show anymore.
can someone identify what code should i do to re-enable it?

I am aware of 4 datasets per software version, each with a different feature set/body type.
I think any VIN would be most helpful to n3oka - or a SW-Version, Keyless Variant and the body

I had a dedicated thread for this one and the answer is simple: NO as it is a FEC/SWaP thing.
My car has navigation, has light assist, has pedestrian detection (i mean camera is fully compatible with TSR) but function is not enabled from factory and there's nothing we can do about it. I've asked my local VW dealer to do this for a fee and they are so stupid and said "car does not support". I also thing that some functions are related to the firmware of the digital display (digital cockpit) as some of them have different graphics (for example a similar car but from 2020 does not display ODO. Also does not display clock and temp in the digital dash (like mine - temp left, clock right).
Also another car is displaying the oil level but mine doesn't.

If you mean the Software version as shown on the control unit info screen then you cant do anything.
All it is telling you is that on the OBD11 Database there is another car that matches on various items and it has a higher software number.
OBD11 cant upload software or install it all it can do is tell you that another car has a higher version.

For your first question, the MIB3 should have radio logo display from the factory. You do not need to change anything. Just make sure you have an updated version of the radio database. A nicely written procedure how to update the Radio DB is in n3ooka's Coding list on this very forum. If your radio station/stations do not have logos in the database, there is nothing you can really do, you won't have logo's for these. In my country, around 30% of stations do not have a logo.
For the "Take over steering" message... Answer is NO, the time interval where the car waits for a touch to the steering wheel is hardwired in the dataset of A5. But even if it would be possible, consider that travel assist is not autonomous driving and you should have your hands on the steering wheel all the time. The car will drift out of lane if you leave it unattended, especially in curves, so please drive safely. If your steering wheel is okay, just gentle touching is enough not to have the message pop up anyways.

I don’t know if it’s me but I was not able to find a complete “guide” to properly activate the TA and relive the annoying messages with no KLR installed.
Installing a touch-sensitive steering wheel
and having activated (via app) the adaptive lane guidance, what else is needed?
A5 - KLR must be changed to coded
13 - Capacitive steering wheel changed to enable
Change The HC to variant 2 (for TA, which if I've understood well, which should also enable the TA button on the steering wheel)
What else?

You should have hands on the steering wheel all the time. NNever blindly trust the car - it might wander of the lane. Also, this module is for KLR only as it plugs where the touch controller would. I have a 2020 life without travel assist (just corner assist), I have bought the KLR module and the steering wheel "commands" with the travel assist button. After I have unmounted my sterring wheel I have discovered that the new "commands" are not compatible because the plugs are different. So, I need to change the steering wheel, too. (and it costs a lot) |

I literarly bolded that you need to have a KLR (Travel assist steering wheel) and that you cannot retrofit the module to a standard steering wheel....

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am trying to change the start up screen (when the VW logo is shown as soon as you get in the car) in the cockpit from the default one to the Blue one from the R but can't seem to find it in the adaptations in the dashboard control unit. Thoughts?

Which year was your car made? If it's before 2021 it's probably because of your infotainment screen(speedometer) is not capable of showing it. Do you see how many Km your car has had from new when you are driving?(example: 122327Km) or do you see it just when you turn your car off?
