Similar to phonostar for European models, is there a way for US vehicles to update Radio Station Data? My part number is 5H0035871

After enabling acceleration measurement (1.1.46) I am getting a dynamic cornering light error. I know it says a basic adjustment to headlight is required, but what does that mean?

*fixed - there is an adaptation call "acknowledge basic settings" that made it go away.

The question is - after coding, did the measurement work? Or does nothing happen when you press START?

Yes it did! I didn't get the chance to get a real 0-60 time, but once I hit start, came to a complete stop it showed that it was ready. As soon as I hit the gas the timer started. For reference I have a 2023 R (but not sure about firmware versions)

I'm interested. This works in all modes or only Race mode

And here is my biweekly disclaimer: Coding 4B will reset all adaptive light settings: *Automatic leveling *Matrix
While automatic leveling could be reset (although in a wrong/unchecked basic level), Matrix will need actual measurements from a tuning device. You can read them from basic settings and re-enter or have them recalibrated at a workshop. Entering bogus values (or all zero) will not correctly enable matrix.

Could you give more information on how to do this? How much of a difference does it make? Did I mess up by doing this? . I'm am in the US if that makes a difference as well.

It makes the difference that you either do it according to the specs and have a decent result or you just fake the correct procedure and are lucky or not.
How this works in a workshop: Auto levelling *Start leveling basic setting. Leveling is reset to a zero position. *Level/Adjust headlights with lightbox and screwdriver. *Aknowledge basic setting =>The car now has a well levelled setting. When the sensor(s) are indicating that the car is loaded or unloaded, the headlight will adjust. There is no "feedback loop" with the camera or something. When it is off, it is off. Pitfalls: When this is done on a non-leveled surface, the lights are still following the car's load, but will always be too high or too low.
You can read the load sensors actual values and basic setting in live data. You could reload the car to match the saved basic setting for this. I expierienced a bug in OBD11 not correctly showing the values, so take care here. There is no way of manually entering these values.
Matrix basic setting: *Start basic setting. "Reference segments" are lit up. *With a matrix capable testing device the vertical offset of these segments is measured *Feed back the positions to the car's tester. No tools needed.
Pitfalls: Everything. There is no way of doing this at home with a best effort strategy.
You can read the offsets from the live data and just write them back in the procedure. Of course, you will need to do this (and write them down) before changing the coding. Make sure the values are correctly saved, as the live data shows 3 representation, but only one is valid for entering.

Thanks for the information!
For the auto leveling, I'm not seeing a basic setting for leveling. Can you tell me which one you are referring to? (is it just "Basic Headlamp setting"?)
For the matrix lights, how would I ask for this to be done at the dealership for them to actually know what I'm talking about? Is this something the dealership can easily do?
I currently have "matrix_head_lamp" disabled to make the error go away for the time being.

n3oka The problem i have now is, it detects empty lane and shows little arrow, but as soon as i indicate it switches off lane assist (as normally it would do without active lane change assist) for a brief time so i can manually change lane. It acts like it sees lane but is unable to turn the wheel by itself. Could be: So i followed every step to try to code Active Lane Change Assistant. Control unit 44 and A5 exactly the same. But in 09 in adaptations i don't have BCM as shown in screenshot. I tried Travel (as travel assist), BCM, body, Fahrerassistenz, Blinkfunktionen, Blinken. There is no such a thing in my 09 control unit. I have (09 control module) HV 5WA937086E, SV 0158. In OBD11 app it shows there a new version for my control unit but i don't know how to update it by myself, tip would help i'm willing to learn and test new thing. Also even tho i have travel assist, and everything is working fine. In driver assist setting i didn't have Travel Assist as i have now after this coding. But if i tap on it i have this error (screenshot). Why do you thing i didn't had that menu in setting and why it shows error? Any suggestions?

As pointed out various times in the specific threads: A5 Camera software is too old in most cases.
n3oka uses the German database, maybe setting yours to German too helps here

Hold the steering wheel gently. If it detects that you are not holding the steering wheel, lane change assistant becomes passive. If everything is OK, when it gives the signal, it will make a smooth transition in that direction. good luck

So you have the oldest AID display with software 1400. If you enabled the View 9 and it doesn't show up then it means that it is missing in the software itself.

Hi @n3ooka and comunity would ysomebody know what bytes to disable in 03 Brakes, to code out the AHK- Towbar? I have a permanent DTC ("Missing comunication with serial data module") after the towbar was removed. It is coded out in every module other than 03. I have been trying to get rid of this error for almost a year now....

brkica : I suspect what you will need to do is deselect the towing controller as an installed device by making a change in controller 19, the gateway. But that is just an educated guess, before you do anything get some more authoritative advice from elsewhere. Michael
