My 2017 GTI Sport does not have automatic lighting, just the two position on off switch. Also, I have disabled DRL in favor of switching on the parking lamps at dusk and under cloudy or lower light conditions and having the tail lamps on. Unfortunately the instrument cluster does not illuminate. Does anyone know if it's possible to code the instrument cluster lights to come on with the parking lights?
Never mind, I just saw that this was addressed previously. I followed the instructions in that answer and shazaaum, it worked!!
Thanks
Frank

Thanks Frank Not sure if you're interested, but there is a coding adaptation that allows for "Scandinavian" DRLs... which includes the taillights in addition to the normal DRLs. That way you don't need to turn your parking lights on to get your tails on. Not sure what the adaptation details are, but they can be easily searched for.

Is there a way to turn off in motion safety warnings? The feature that doesn't allow you to use several functions of the MIB, namely phone interface

What menu is it in? Could possibly be missing for US market cars, like half these other options

At least I haven't found it yet As vwjap said, use code 20103. In the US, they started blocking access to settings when the car is moving starting in MY 2016 or 2017. Worked this time though, unlocked everything except the navi option, since I don't gave navigation anyway. Thanks!

Does anyone know the security code to change the "straight ahead brake stabilization" adaption? It is in the ABS module, none of the other ABS security codes work.

How long is the ecu lock out active for? I tried changing something in the brakes module 3 but entered the wrong code about 4 times and now I'm locked out.

I haven’t played with one, only thing to do is look in your central electronics and mib modules to see if they have the ambient lighting adaptions

Hi
The internal sound actuator is at Channel A6 which I believe you have turned down
The external actuator(exhaust) is at channel C0
They are both at 100% from factory and from what I know this is the only option programmable for these modules
Hope this answers your question

Goodevening, i have an ‘16 golf Mk7 highline with folding mirrors. Is there a possibility to coding my mirrors so they don’t fold by unlocking the car but by turning on the ignition like the audi A3 8V? Big thanks! Anything on this yet? I’d like to know as well.

^^^mike: hmm......... why not go to History where you will find a complete set of records of ALL changes that you have made (including the old-settings) and simply revert to the original values? Don

Hye guys, I'm trying to adjust or calibrate my fuel level gauge, since I can drive for around 160 km before it starts to drop. I couldn't find this option on OBDEleven. Would someone know how to do it?
Thanks!

Would someone know how to do it? Thanks These instructions will work if the module in your car accepts the security code 20103 - this happens for MY15 and earlier cars. If you have a later model mk7, you could try 25327. - Select Dashboard module @ address hex17
- Select security access
- Enter magic number 20103
- Select adaptation
- Search for "offset" and select Offset for tank calibration values-Offset sensor 1 (default value -12.8)
- Change setting to suit: <0 values lower needle position and >0 values raise the needle position

Thanks, will try! Mine is a 2014 model, so the code 20103 should work. I also found a parameter which says something like "Full tank calibration", but couldn't find out how it works. Would it be worth using it, and how to use? Any tips on how to define the correct adjustment? My fuel level gauge isn't linear, and the lower the fuel level, the quicker it drops. Should I consider it a normal behavior or is it due to the fact the my gauge takes a long time to start dropping? Is there any suggestion of references that I should use, either on the level gauge itself, or maybe based on kilometers that I ran and estimate of my average fuel consumption to determine in which position the gauge should be? Should I be afraid of changing it too much or incorrectly to the point I run out of fuel without the gauge telling me the tank is empty?
