I wonder if anybody can help me please.
I am trying to code the folding mirrors so that they only open when you put the key in the ignition.
Still want the Remote lock to close the mirrors but only open when the car is getting ready to start.
I have seen some comments this was changed by VW in early 2014 to the current setup where on remote they open on unlock and close on lock.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi All,
I recently changed the CD unit on my car and the replacement has had component protection removed BUT it now displays GTE on boot and not R
I know it's trivial but anyone know how to change this back to R

I would like to code this for my 2015 TDI Sportwagon. Try this, in module 09, Central Electrics: Funk bei Klemme 15 ein: switch from "active" to "not active" Translates as "Radio at terminal 15 on". Terminal 15 is standard code for ignition switched power. On my car, this code is "not active" and the radio works until you pull the key out. After that, you can turn it back on without the key, and it will remain on for 30 minutes. You can keep turning it back on for 30 minutes at a time. Great way to listen to the radio without the key, yet it won't run the battery down if you forget to switch it off. |

So the one touch down on my front passenger window has never worked since I bought it. Not sure if it's a mechanical issue or maybe a code value that might be off. Anyone know where I check that?

I think there’s a reset for that, you wind the window down but keep holding it for like 10 seconds after it’s down, then wind it back up and hold it for 10 seconds after it’s up, could be wrong tho

That didn't fix it but thanks dude. Still hoping it's a coding thing. I have to take it in for drivers side window rubbing bad and a paint issue that are both warranty anyhow, just don't wanting them freaking about or changing my code changes.

Does anybody know how to perform a DCC reset (2018 Golf-R)? The service manual keeps talking about performing a basic settings reset on DCC when any type of suspension work is involved (ball joint, etc etc).
The basic settings for the DCC module comes with three options
* Adapting with deflected wheels
* Reset to as-delivered condition of control module manufacturer
* Restore vehicle-specific data
Anybody know what these do?

Hello. I have just bought obdeleven and been coding with apps and just noticed that optical parking sensor is not showing anymore. And the control unit 10 is gone. When i try coding by apps optical parking system ir shows fail.

Salve ho una golf7 tdi 115cv 2017 effettuata la codifica chiusura finestrini causa pioggia come da guida ma non funziona...esiste altra procedura oppure é la mia auto che non accetta la codifica....nel menù la funzione é attiva ma provando con l'acqua è la vettura chiusa non va.accetto soluzioni grazie

So there's coding to have the horn acknowledge locking but what value to keep from having horn acknowledge? I like the lights and hearing the mechanical lock, but don't need the horn. My Alltrack most of the time only does the horn on the second fob press, but sometimes it does it on the first (or maybe my press is too long). I'd like to just do away with horn acknowledge altogether. What value is the horn?

I'm assuming the following code values are for vehicles that have led DRLs or signals (both?). I have an early NAR MY 17 Alltrack and the DRLs are just Halo headlights. Is it possible to do the alternating DRLs/blinker mod with halos? It appears as though it uses my high beams as DRLs.

Put the window up and down to the right spot manually (not using one touch) three times in a row this set mine correctly but it does forget from time to timehope this helps

But for window reset it's as simple as press switch down and when window is fully down keep holding switch for 3-5 seconds. Then do the same going up. |

Ho letto in diversi forum che ci sono dei modelli di sensore che non lo permettono proprio. Premetto che anche io ho il sensore di pioggia e che viene utilizzato in caso di pioggia per i tergicristalli, ma per la funzione dei finestrini in caso di pioggia non c'è santo. Purtroppo devi arrenderti. |

Grazie per la risposta -ginob- ho notato che la modifica "chiusura causa pioggia" non funziona ma se lascio aperti i finestrini e chiudo l'auto dopo 12 ore si chiudono da soli!!se non fosse giusta la codifica i finestrini non si chiuderebbero in quanto se disabilito l'opzione non si chiudono...per me c'è qualche bit ulteriore da attivare ciao

- p_ice_warning_exit_temperature, which has a default value of 6 °C (i.e. 43 °F)
Not sure if you are familiar with the term 'hysteresis" (it's a method of dynamic-lag that is sometimes used in control systems), but this is how these two channels operate. The entry channel value is the threshold temperature at which the black-ice alarm will be set and the exit channel is the threshold temp. at which the alarm will clear (i.e. at the warmer temperature). If only one threshold temperature is used, the alarm would "hunt" (i.e. continuously turn ON/OFF) as the car traveled through different temperature zones. But with hysteresis control, the black-ice alarm remains more constant with changing ambient temperature.
So, if you are going to change the value in one of these channels, I suggest that you also change the other channel value so that there is ALWAYS 2°C difference -this maintains the size of the hysteresis differential.
