Has anyone looked at coding ACC ? Given the FR has front assist and lane assist that should be the hardware for ACC, its missing a button but you should be able to set distance via the screen anyway right?

If you have the tool then you can give it a go and see what control units you can see and make changes to. I have seen the following control units locked by SFD on a number of different sites 01 - engine electronics - seen this on a couple threads 09 - Electronic central electrics - seen this on a couple threads 19 - Diagnostic interface for data bus - seen this on a couple threads 5F - information electronics 1 - seen this on a couple threads so if the old coding requires access to any of these control units then I suspect the answer for now is NO. If the coding does not touch these then its a possibility but so far not seen any coding coming out for general use. Looks like 75 Telematics is also locked / needs a code that isn't the 20103 for mk3

I have been able to put the view of the quora, but I would like to add the turbo and torque screens just like the stock cupra has. I have found where to enable it but it asks me for a login code

“2/ Aid Display - thanks to massimo23 This will display various model (eg FR, Cupra etc) in rev counter - Select Control unit 17-Dashboard - - Select Adaptions - Select Logo menu - select one of the logo items: On the Golf8 the following is known. logo_1 and logo_2 are for the R Logo_3 for GTE logo_4 for GTI logo_5 for GTD“ What is the code to get the FR logo in the display? somebody else tested this and it is working for him? seems to do nothing on 2021 FR

Hi guys,
i´m trying to activate the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), so my car will accelarate and brake on its own. In unit A5 Driver Assistance the ACC stands with "Coded" already.
So when i try to enable in unit 13 Adaptiver Cruise Control the option Cruise_control_mode to active, will this work? I noticed that my car is braking automatically when comming close to a car in front of me (maybe this is sailing option?). But this is only working when speed control unit is not active. When setting a speed the car is not controlling any distance.
btw: What is the meaning of AAG, SWA and KLR? Someone tried this?

SWA stands for Lane Change Assist / Spur wechsel assistent the others i dont know
on the MK3 you have to retrofit hardware to make it work i am guessing its the same on the MK4

I know that on the Golf 8 you will need SWAP code to enable ACC.

Hi. I tested the lane assist set to early and it works like a charm. The thing is, now that it is active I get the "put the hands on the steering wheel" every 10 seconds even though they already on it. I have to actively move the steering wheel even when I wouldn't need to so I don't get this message, so having this is literally useless for me. Is there any way of removing this warning? I search a lot of forums for this but actually there is no way to deactivate that anyoning message..... As long as you have no touch sensitive steering wheel you can not deactivate it..... I'm so unlucky about this..

hellmakerThat’s unfair. 🙃 Thanks for checking and relay back. I deactivated this option a few weeks back. Couldn’t handle the sound.

There is no a possibility to have the electric wiring/schematic diagram of the car? Because I think is possible to emulate the presence of the capacitive steering, but is needed a document to understand how it works...

Are there any possibilities known on changing the front-assist settings? Changing the 'pre-warning' from 'Late' to 'Disabled' (in the infotainment settings) always resets to 'Disabled' at the next start, can this be fixed? Or can the whole front-assist be disabled without warning in the dashboard, like lane assist can (by disabling off_text)?

When you press the + and - keys on the steering wheel when acc is active the speed is altered in 10 km/h steps. It would be nice if this was in 5 km/h steps instead. You can go up and down 1km/h with the Set and Res keys but since I always want to set mine 5 km/h above the limit it's a lot of pressing

Don't think so, check out the manual and as you say it only supports 5mph or 1mph increments
Had a quick look through Control unit 13 and cant see anything obvious

Hi,
I'm new here, and owner of a Leon 4 Xcellence 1.5 TSI 150ch with manual gears (no DCC, driving assist pack L).
With your help, I've successfully coded the "cupra" dashboard.
I'll try next coding the lane assist to mimic the travel assist. I saw on earlier posts that you need a capacitive steering wheel in order to not be reminded every 10 seconds to have your hands on.
I'll try coding it tomorrow and testing it by the end of the week and see if I can find an option to deactivate the sound/warning.

Hello again,
Lane assist early is cool however so far I’ve been unable to find how to deactivate the take control back of the vehicle.
As for the preceding question, DRL tail light is currently locked due to SFD.
Now, I have a question, I’d like to set the interior led strip to purple which is not possible by default. However, I can’t seem to find the settings, has anyone got an idea where I should look ?

ok on a different post you showed a vehicle on different plaform,
Obviously the MK4 is protected by SFD and that you have to have the bonnet open to code.
What control unit are you trying to update

Happy to be proved wrong but guessing that is control unit 09 which you cant code with obd11 due to SFD

Big thanks to Zoidberg on seatcupra.net for getting this www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/obd-modifications.463977/page-3#post-4978383Travel Assist can indeed be coded with OBD11, if you have the necessary hardware. I picked up a new steering wheel with the TA button from a seller on eBay and after fitting it (which was a bit of a PITA ), the coding part was surprisingly easy. I picked up a few clues on various forums, but was still surprised to pretty much nail it first try. I now have a fully working TA, including lane assist below 40mph and the extended assistant view with multi-lane traffic and road curves Even with the capacitive steering wheel, I still get the "takeover steering" warning once in a while, but it's definitely not as often as before. So the key piece of hardware for this to work is the capacitive steering wheel, without that you're getting nowhere. I'm not really sure what else is required, my car came with DSG, front assist, side assist and park assist from the factory and I'm assuming that at least front assist and maybe DSG is required for the full experience.
So for everyone else who might be interested, here are my settings:
Control unit 13, Adaptive cruise control:
Control unit A5, Driver assistance:

Wow! That's actually incredible. Tysm mate, I might give it a go in the near future, since I travel a lot and travel assist would be a game changer for me.

Dont forget you have to fit a new steering wheel as well so this is not just a coding fix there is hardware required.
