Just received the coding dongle from kufatec yesterday. Coding took app. 20 sec. after coding, I let the car settle for 5 minutes. Everything was working, as expected  There was errors in almost all controllers after coding. But all could be removed. No errors now. Well done kufatec |

Yes i installed the park button prior to the dongle/sw installation. It was fairly easy and took in total less than an hour.
Been going trough all the coding from before and after the IPA install.
So far, it seems like its pure coding. Can’t find any controllers that has received parameter update.
But 09 & A5 has received a lot more coding than previous tried in this tread.
Will give an update when I have been trough all coding and adaptation

I’ve got SW version 0291 and SW No: 4KE907107AC, which is concluded necessary to upgrade to AM or AR, both for MA w/ breaks as well as for IPA if I understood correctly. |

I got now working IPA on my car. Couldn't tell that it parks well but at least everything is working in full like it should from the factory. A guy who offered his help at the bottom of page 5 has helped me for the reasonable reward.
I could only tell that it pure coding/adaptations without parametrisation but there are more modules and much more to do in each module so decision here could appear quite late if it will appear at all.

We have two way to do it now
1: add the button
For this, we will need to change long coding and adaptions. This way will control the car's direction automatically.
2: rewire
Change the parking radar wires from A5 to 09. This will enable the parking function too. but you have to control the car's direction. For this, you don't need to add the button.

As far as I remember there are different generations of parking sensors (4th and 5th if I not mistaken) which are connected to modules A5 and 09. So I'm not sure this will work.

Installing P-button plus necessary codings/adaptations takes max.3h with a result you are getting is full IPA (Audi PR code FT3). While rewiring US sensors from zFAS to BCM and new recodings will take the whole day (and here I’m optimistic) and at the end you will have PLA which is installed in wide range of models from Superb to Tiguan and A4/A5. Moreover, US sensors connected initially to zFAS are 6th generation ones, while those that BCM is able to work with are 5th gen.

Ustolle said he is on 0293, so I'm hoping my will work after the zfas software update. Also, what year model do you guys have? 2019, or 2020? Mine is a 2019... |

Great news! I can confirm that the Kufatec dongle works great with 2019 A6 and zFAS VAR C H09 0295!
Great job Kufatec team!
It's a great to have auto parking and maneuver assist working finally!

The >>P button is required. The feature requires that you press the hard button during autonomous parking. If you release the button, the process stops.

My friend helped me to enable the IPA function. I don't have any issue with the button switch off at 5km/h.
I believe something happened with your code.

Hello, can you please help me understand, does this work for UK Audi A6 S-Line with Technology Package and Comfort Pack.
The Car does have 360 Camera and Car Parking Sensor on the side in addition to front and rear ie 360
It does not have Adaptive Cruise Control (this requires two radar sensors in the front grill).

Adaptive cruise control is not required in order to have IPA working. What is needed as additional hardware to your car (if you have 360 cameras and 12 US sensors), it is a panel with P-button. And from software side - control unit A5 (zFAS) with SW updated to v0295 and correct codings.

I had a response from Kufatec,
'We are sorry but this system is not suitable for your car.
The must have installed Adaptive cruise control and this car does not have installed this system. Then it is not possible to retrofit this system on your car.'
So, I'm a little confused, if you spec a Audi A6 build year 2021 with Comfort and Sound Pack (this has 360 parking camera and additional parking sensors) - it has the Park Assist included.
The Adaptive Cruise Control is not included in that.
I'll query further, I'm not sure if this is a strict limitation to A6 built in 2019?
