Good afternoon everybody,

I have a Volkswagen Jetta equipped with a Discovery Media 2 STD multimedia.

I currently installed the reversing camera, and would like to deactivate park assist/park pilot.

Would it be possible to deactivate park assist/park pilot, and only keep the reverse camera?

I tried to disable park assist, but disabling the camera, nothing appears on the screen.

I read the forum thread here and im confused if it is possible to just "activate" park assist plus in my case

I have an Audi Q4 2022 advance model, with NO 360 camera:

i do have Adaptive cruise control,
i have road sign recognition,
i have Audi Pre sense front and back,
i have rear parking camera and parking sensors front and back.

Can i activate the automatic parking function for the car or do i have to upgrade anything?
The Q4 normaly activate the parking assist on the touch screen, so retofitting a button should not be needed.

No you can't. Park assist requires also side parking sensors. Plus other bits and pieces that may or may not be present in your car.

The soft button works sporadically. Most of the time it says "Park assistant not available at this time.", other times it asks me to select the direction to park - I do this via the indicator stalk. Then press the P button and expect the car to start parking. The car will just turn its wheels slightly and then say "Process ended, please take over". The buttons seem to work for UNparking - the car will just move a few feet backwards and then again say "Process ended..."

Anyone with a similar experience? I am quite sure it is a coding thing but am also suspecting there is parametrization involved.

Anyone actually got it working without the Kufatec dongle?

OK I was able to resolve this. In my case, it was the missing coding of the rear axle. My car has rear axle steering.

ajax007 how exactly did you program the code for the rear axle steering? I am in the same situation.... Thanks!

I found the file for flashing SW 0295 and then unknowingly flashed it via the engineering menu. Big mistake!
I looked for help at Audi and didn't get any. Then I Was able to downgrade the software with ODIS E overnight and for 8 hours with a running engine.

Then I tried again and flashed the bootloader first after TSB. When flashing the main software, the process was aborted due to low voltage. I I used a 30a charger, but the battery was already too weak. The control unit was dead.
A new control unit costs around €4,000 at Audi. So I looked for a used one and got one for €450 with SW 0295 but from an Audi Q8. I didn't want to do any experiments and went back to Audi. They should just calibrate my cameras. But Audi was unable to flash the correct parameters.
Luckily I got help from another forum and someone was able to help me remotely. Flashing also took 3 hours.
An back again to Audi for calibration. Now everything is working so far. Actually i can use my cameras, but the menu isnt available. Also the 360 view is there. But i can't choose the menu settings. I get no response by touching the Display.

Please note the correct order!

1. Flash bootloader via Odis

2. Main software via the engineering menu

3. Update with ODIS S and finalize online Geko account. With the correct SVM code

I would still like to provide you with the SW 0365 file for the SD card and you will get the right bootloader by mibsolution.one/#/1.
