Anyone got traffic sign detection to work?
Headed over to the vw golf section and played around. Always got the traffic sign detection error message. And it doesn't show any signs.
I got the option in menus tho

Have you tried this:

On my Kamiq it doesnt work properly... Verkehrszeichenerkennung - Freischaltung (Variante 2) Multifunktionskamera (STG A5) muss verbaut sein. Ist kein HUD (STG 82) verbaut, ist die Codierung auszulassen. I have no navigation in my car so i have on startup on dashboard and on multimedia in car status notification showing that sign recognition is limited. Is there way to remove that? |

I have another Software number with an "R" at the end, on that its not working. Also Hardware Version is H09 and not H12, maybe an upgraded version (my Scala is built 06/19)

No, TSR without navigation data is not working properly (intersection and city data missing).
Still, do yourself a favor and set back Byte1 Bit0 to the original value. This is for old cameras 5Q0 and incorrectly labeled. Never change anything in Byte 1 to Byte 4 in 3Q0 cameras. This changes very basic settings to the dynamic calibration which may lead to an invalid calibration.
All 3Q0-Cameras have the same labels, so coding is always the same. So in most cases, coding should be enough. Still, TSR relies on the parameter set of the camera. We have seen this in Tiguan Allspaces, where just coding just not worked out. For these, there is the need of VCP and a parameter set enabling TSR. No Job for OBD11!

At least the Scala I have in my app does not have this active, so yes, from this info this should be disabled.
Do not change this bit when activating TSR. If you changed it, change it back,
