Just seen this on the Seat site www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=4755908&postcount=9, If you have keyless entry in your car or a standard key but want the remote control to work when engine is running then set the following. 1/ go to Control unit: 09 Central Electrics 2/ Adaptions 3/ Go to access control 4/ Take Funk bei Klemme 15 ein and set to Active nb you may have to enter a security code in which case use 31347 This for keyless entry this should allow you to have the car running but lock the door whilst you are outside. For non keyless cars you will be able to use your fob whilst the car is running, so for example you can open your boot whilst sitting in the drivers seat with engine running. I should point out for UK users this will be illegal and almost certainly invalidate your insurance because you have left the car running with you not in it. As with all changes that I share you make these at your own risk

This is the only coding I have seen for this
Ambient light blank door with reverse With this mod, carrying the doors in red, when putting the reverse gear will go blank.
Leerraumtür des Umgebungslichtes mit Rückseite Mit diesem Mod wird das Tragen der Türen in Rot, wenn der Rückwärtsgang eingelegt wird, leer.
1 - Module 09 - Electronic control unit. Code (31347) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9 4 - Submenu - Lichtfunktion G 16 5 - Change value to Rückfahrlicht 6 - Select - Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9 7 - Submenu - Dimmwert GH 16 8 - Change value to 0 9 - Select - Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9 10 - Submenu - Dimming direction GH 16 11 - Change value to Minimize 12 - Select - Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3 13 - Submenu - Lichtfunktion C 17 14 - Change value to Rückfahrlicht 15 - Select - Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3 16 - Submenu - Dimmwert CD 17 17 - Change value to 127 18 - Select - Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3 19 - Submenu - Dimming direction CD 17 20 - Change value to Maximized
NOTE: Leuchte 16 is the red light (0 and minimized = 127 and maximized) and Leuchte 17 is white light (0 and minimized = 127 and maximized)

Simple change that enables you to remove from AM from your radio list (AM, FM, DAB by Default)
select Control unit: 5F Information Control Unit Select long Coding Ensure you are still in mode 0 (top right hand of the screen) Select byte_14_AM_disable Change from Not activated (Default) to activated
The AM Frequency will no longer be shown on your Radio Frequency List.

Just keeping all the changes in one place to make it easier to find. Below link show you how to adjust or disable the front light washers to help reduce water consumption. obdeleven.proboards.com/post/11746

This coding, however, allows only the closing of the windows, but not of the sunroof
Close windows to detect rainIf you leave the car with the windows down and starts to rain, the car automatically closes the windows 1 - Module 09 - Electronic. Code (31347) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Access Control 2 4 - Sub - ein aus Regenschliessen 6 - Change value to Active 7 - Sub - Menuesteuerung regenschliessen 8 - Change value to Active 9 - Sub - Regenschliessen art 10 - Change value to Permanent 11 - extended Coding (Bytes Mode) 12 - Byte 0 13 - Enable Bits 1 and 2 There's an error in this instruction. Should be: 11 - go to Subsystems 12 - choose RLFS (or RLS - according to some source newer RLHS doesn't support rain closing) 13 - coding 14 - byte 0 15 - Enable Bits 1 and 2 I don't know what bits 1 and 2 of byte 0 of Central Electronics module do, but certainly do not enable rain closing function. Enabling those bits on RLFS subsystem however does enable that function. Also according to some sources it's required to perform factory reset of the "closing" subsystem via car menu. I did that just to be sure, and now rain closing seems to be working fine.

ok just check out the coding on the N forum (as that is the Facelift one)
From the Golf Forum (thanks to VWJAP) I have the following code for facelift golf's with roof
Go to [09] Central Electronics Go to Secuity Access and enter 31347 Go to adaptation channels and set the following: - (15) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_ein aus (Rain Closing on / off) - Select Active - (16) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_art (Rain closing Type) set to Permanent - (28) Access Control 2 - Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen (Menu Control Rain close) – Set to Active (enables the menu in the ifotainment screen)
9 Central Electronics Rain and light sensor (could be RLS or RHLS subsystem) Byte 0…Enable Bit 2 “Regenschliessen aktiv”. (rain closing active) Bit 1 should be active too….Regenlicht aktiv (rain light active) My Old coding…..00A8DD My New coding….06A8DD
But access control 2 on the new module is ZV Komfort Then you have to select in MIB And you have to have the wipers in automatic position
But it doesn’t work on some cars (different rain sensor?)
I haven’t done this myself tho,

ok afraid I dont have the roof on my car, and just to double check you are pre facelift.
Going through the coding there are a number of codes for Panoramaschiebedachbeleuchtung which is to do with lighting but hopefully something simular may help. The other thing to look for is DACH which is roof so there may be something there.
I will have a look tonight on the web but I do know that there is more than one sort of rain sensor and this does not always work.

just seen this on youtube
STG 09, 31347, Adaption, Access control 2-SAD Richtung Komfortoeffnen, set "Open" or "tilting"
Not sure if this is tied in with the rain closing.
Afraid all the vids I have seen say it does not work on the roof.

nike2002 this is the pre facelift board you should post this question on the N board.
However just in case it has not changed this is the coding for our cars
Modify grades warning of possible danger ice With this mod, you can change temperatures warning of possible danger of ice. 1 - Module 17 - Code Box instruments- (25327) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Outside temperature 4 - Search option - P exit temperature ice warning 5 - Modify the desired value: 6 ° C Default 6 - Search option - P ice warning entry temperature: 7 - Modify the desired value: 4 ° C Default

Just checked the Golf Forum and found this forum.obdeleven.com/post/10017the comment that may be relevant is OK, so now for the bad news answer! To change the value in the 2 x adaptation channels above, you will need a security access code. This code was 20103 in early versions of the dashboard module, but I'm not aware that the code has been found for newer modules. Happy to be proven wrong

I was hoping somebody might be able to take a min to explain what the following coding will achieve?
Flashing LED DRL dissipated.
Flashing lights DRL with LED simultaneous.
Against stage lights DRL with LED lights appr forward.
Rear lights flashing in sequence mode (LED drivers)
Thanks

I was hoping somebody might be able to take a min to explain what the following coding will achieve? Flashing LED DRL dissipated. check out the last bit of this thread obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/2034/drl-led-dissipated\Flashing lights DRL with LED simultaneous. I am guessing its the opposite of the below one.Against stage lights DRL with LED lights appr forward. With this modification you can make the lights do the following: When the flashing light DRL are off and when the indicator is off the DRL light. It is very cool.Rear lights flashing in sequence mode (LED drivers) Check out obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/2071/rear-blinkers-coding-video not sure if this is the coding you are talking about
Bottom line its very easy to code these changes, and if you dont like what they do then just put it back as it was before.
Take a backup of your settings before you start so you have an easy reference point to do the reverse if required.

Hi guys,
Thanks for this thread ! I owned a Leon 5F manufactured in January 2016. I don't have OBDeleven (perhaps i should have...) , but VCDS 18.X.
I have three questions on the mods offered here:
** "Folding mirrors. On-Screen Activation[...]**" => To be sure. With single press on the lock buton of the remote control, mirrors will fold and windows will close ? Whats the meaning of "The Settings main screen is activated."?
** "Close windows to detect rain" ** It does not work with my car. I have now an option displayed in the head pannel, but after a "water test", nothing happens... I ve seen it can be due to latest sensors on Leon. I choosed "RLFS", should i have choosen RLS ?
Is it possible to enable the "sleepness assistant" (sorry don't know how translate in english)? You know, i'm talking about the cup of coffee picture display if the car assumes you are falling asleep...
Thanks very much

funolivier as you are a VCDS Guy you should really be asking these questions on the Ross Tech sites (if you are not registered you should do so but only if you have a genuine cable or you will not get any help at all). With regards to Folding mirrors. On-Screen Activation With this mod, the windows are raised and the mirrors are folded without having to be continuously pressing the button of the remote. 1 - Module 09 - Electronic control unit. Code (31347) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Access control 2 4 - Submenu - Menuesteuerung funk spiegel anklappen - Options (Inactive - Activated) 5 - Change value to On The Settings main screen is activated. - So this allows you to close windows and mirrors are folded but it also adds another menu option to your settings under car, cant recall what it gives you but have a look on the screen.
Never been interested in this one so not tried it but here is the coding I have
Close windows to detect rain If you leave the car with the windows down and starts to rain, the car automatically closes the windows 1 - Module 09 - Electronic. Code (31347) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Access Control 2 4 - Sub - ein aus Regenschliessen 6 - Change value to Active 7 - Sub - Menuesteuerung regenschliessen 8 - Change value to Active 9 - Sub - Regenschliessen art 10 - Change value to Permanent 11 - extended Coding (Bytes Mode) 12 - Byte 0 13 - Enable Bits 1 and 2 Some sites show the Golf 7 Coding works here as well There's an error in this instruction. Should be: 11 - go to Subsystems 12 - choose RLFS (or RLS - according to some source newer RLHS doesn't support rain closing) 13 - coding 14 - byte 0 15 - Enable Bits 1 and 2
I don't know what bits 1 and 2 of byte 0 of Central Electronics module do, but certainly do not enable rain closing function. Enabling those bits on RLFS subsystem however does enable that function. Also according to some sources it's required to perform factory reset of the "closing" subsystem via car menu. I did that just to be sure, and now rain closing seems to be working fine.
I presume you only have RLFS or RLS as a subsystem not both but as I say not done it so not checked it out.
It should be possible to code fatigue detection but i have not seen any coding yet, although there is a thread here that may help you forum.obdeleven.com/thread/1812/awareness-assist-activation
