Isn't that enabled by standard?
i.e. Press and hold unlock for windows down
&
Press & hold lock for windows up.

You have to enable Channel 17 on STG 46 and change Byte 06 Bit 0 Komfortbedienung inaktiv Byte 06 Bit 5 Komfortbedienung eFH/SAD via FFB inaktiv to 0 Byte 07 Bit 2 Komfortöffnen eFH via FFB aktiv Byte 07 Bit 5 Komfortschließen eFH via FFB aktiv to 1
Just did it yesterday on my Golf Plus 2005 and worked after Enabling Customizing Channel 17.

I think you dont need access code. But try it. If you need access code you get a failure message.

Awesome! I will give it a shot when I get off work. I am new to VW, so I am sticking to mods, that are convenient, but also practical. I'll post if it worked or not! Anything else I should do as a first time VW owner in the OBD 11 coding?

Can someone walk me through the step by step of how to accomplish this? I bought the dongle in the hopes of being able to allow my car to have the windows going up on lock and down on unlock, but for some reason I cannot figure this out for the life of me. Any help?

Ok first lesson ist everything you do, do it slow and faithful. The most faults are sitting in front of the mobile :-) this is the most important thing. I learned this by hard way :-D For step by step everything you need to know for the coding is written in coding and adaptions. Not every coding works with every car. For a step by step coding with pictures may dv52 can help, he is a kind of a step by step explain master.

The FIRST thing you should do is to post your entire coding. Download Ross-Tech's VCDS tool and install it. What you want from it is LCODE.EXE and the "label" file for the specific module that you are trying to code.
You would simply paste your coding in LCODE.EXE and the bit and bytes can be toggled (now that they are labelled). You would just place these new values in OBDeleven and apply.

I dont have access to VCDS as I do not own the adapter cable. Will the bluetooth dongle also work with VCDS software? I bought the OBDeleven dongle because I can't afford the $300+ for the cable and software.

No. The VCDS tool is free to download (without the cable). You only need it for the label files and the LCODE.EXE that comes free with the application.
Now that you gave me your current coding, I'll paste it and get the correct coding for you shortly.

Here is my original Code: 108D0F214004150047140000001400000008730B5C0001 This code is a good code. What is clear is that your car is definitely NOT a GTI a you mentioned since all the good "fun" options are disabled. Give me the part number that you god this coding from. Your "Central Electronics" module is different from my GTI's so I'd need that part number so that I can select the appropriate label file from VCDS in order to tell you which options you would need to play with. Your code matches a working configuration, but I need to select an appropriate label file. This you can get from the OBDeleven app yourself Export your entire log so that I can see your modules that the car uses and get your windows working as desired.

I have a 08 R32 is that possible? Yes, I believe that you have the "same" convenience unit as my MK5 Golf GTI. I'll look up look up my setting and tell you what to change in module 09 Edit: This PDF will help you well with the various Bits and Bytes in the OBDeleven app. It labels them for you.

Bringing this back.
Is the LCODE.exe supposed to show description for each bit as well?
I've been trying for a while now to try to get the windows to go up/down using only the remote by trying all different kinds of codes, but nothing seems to work. Especially since I've also found different posts online where the Long coding for a particular Control unit can be of different byte lengths depending on the model.
So following a guide where it says update byte 02 bit 01 doesn't help at all if my code is 14bytes vs his 19bytes, or something of the sort...
That being said, I have an 08 rabbit (2.5 from Canada) and my current long coding for 46 Central Module Comfort System is:
93C803281B0901AF880A048050CC (14bytes according to LCODE.exe)
Unfortunately I have no description in odbeleven or LCODE.exe for each bit to see which correctly correspond to the opening and closing remotely of the windows.
If somebody could provide some help that'd be great.
If only those descriptions were there it'd be amazing... Or maybe they're not available for the mk5 platform on the odbeleven...

^^^ Yes, LCODE.EXE once used with the correct Ross-Tech label (*.*lbl) files will show you the description for each bit and byte. What I'd like you to give me is the actual part number for your #46 module, and I'll try to see if there is a decrypted label file for it to show the labels / descriptions. I believe your #46 also has 3 slave segments as well. You can export the part number from OBDeleven.
In the interim, I'll place your code on my module to see what it says then record it for you.

Thank, you sir From my summary email: Date: 2017-07-11 18:52 46 Central Module Comfort System System description: KSG Software version: 0401 Hardware number: 1K0959433CM Long coding: 93C803281B09058F880A048050CC Subsystems: System description: Sounder n.mounted System description: NGS n.mounted System description: IRUE n.mounted Trouble codes: No trouble codes found As for the LCODE.exe, I looked around and couldn't find any import type functionality; except if it doesn't actually use the word import. It would be nice to learn how to get the LCODE.exe to show the labels; i might update the descriptions on the odbeleven bits myself for future reference. ^^^ Yes, LCODE.EXE once used with the correct Ross-Tech label (*.*lbl) files will show you the description for each bit and byte. Hardware number: 1K0959433CM Your part number is: 1K0-959-433 (the CM is just a revision number that could also describe the stock firmware version your car came shipped with. With LCODE.exe, you could open any label file that starts with the 1K0-959-xxx You didn't state here which car you have so that I can even see if this is already documented on the Ross-Tech site
