Hi,
I just connected the reversingcamera (oem), OBD11 recognizes the camera but get the following error at module 6C:
B201000 - No basic Setting
U101300 - ControlUnit not coded.
Does someone know the solution? The camera does not flip open.

You should calibrate camera with proper calibration plate.

Hmm but he wouldn’t be able to calibrate when the camera doesn’t open, have you tried opening it in the test, can’t remember where it is but you can open and close the badge with obdeleven

Output test does not work, the camera wont flip open with the “motor test”. I think i need first edit the settings, the long coding is 0000000000000000000000. When i try to do this, i get the exception:”22 - longcoding not accepted..” do i need a acces code??

Thinking about it you’ve connect it to the reverse light wire, so it may not open when you do the test, (mine doesn’t go to the reverse wire from factory so the obdeleven test may be sending the voltage to the wrong pin) does it open when you put it into reverse? Did you connect it to the correct black/blue? Is there power going to the black/blue wire when in reverse? (Been done before, a dodgy join) Is there power on the v+ wire?

This type camera does not have wires to the reverse ligth, it works with canbus, i have a canbus hi low wire, ground, 12v. I do not think the problem is the wires becasue when i check the livedata from controller 6C i get response of the camera, like temprature.

Maybe needs setting up by dealer then, but normally you just wire them in and change 2 settings off you go

Thats for the Lowline, if he has a 6c module then its the fancy highline with the guidelines.A highline gets its reverse signal from the canbus.
No basic setting means its not calibrated, let A Dealer do It, unless you know how.
Control module not coded means It Is not coded, if the coding is all 0 then nothing has any value. If you cant get it to work, ask a dealership, they will get it working.

Coding is from Passat but should work. When you past all coding then you will be able to change one byte step by step.
