"Figured it out!
When fitting the highline RVC, don't tell 5F it has an RVC in byte 19 - instead, go into adaptations and mark "BAP VPS" as activated, and "BAP VPS msg bus" as "comfort data bus".
I now have all the modes I'm supposed to have.
If anyone has any questions regarding fitting a highline RVC to the Mk7, hit me up!"

It’s the app data you need to clear, then re sign in I tried also with VCDS but same result, the only option is now the local vw dealer. Thanks a lot guys for thinking with me. Having same issue now. "22 - function cancelled, marginal conditions have not been met" Camera is not accepting coding. Did you manage somehow to solve it? |

Hi,
I think the camera module 6c lacks the parameter file for the corresponding vehicle. Such a camera is completely "stupid" and is only adapted to the vehicle for coding through this file. Some VCP users can upload them, not via OBDeleven. Googling it.
Coding should then be possible with the correct parameters. Calibration later only removes a blemish (error entry still functional after coding due to missing calibration), but has nothing to do with codability. Basically only the reference lines are adapted to the vehicle. A corresponding plate with measuring points and Vcds / VCP would be required for calibration. I have not yet read whether obdeleven also works.
Before doing this, however, make sure that the correct parameter file has been imported for the vehicle. Otherwise nothing works.

Hey, did someone got sucessful on parametrizing 5Q0980568B RVC? I was at the dealer but they refused to help me with that becouse that cam is from crafter/multivan acording to VW ETKA... Now I realy don't know what to do cuz I saw on other forum that someone got that rvc working on mk7 golf but no info how.
