Hello
I am wanting to do the roof flap reset on an Audi TT MK2 Roadster.
In VAGCOM I just do an output test and then adjust the values in adaption. In ODBEleven I don't even have this Output test menu or Adaption on the Auto Roof Controller.
I suspect it needs a access code to do this? If this is the case, can anyone on here assist please? I would have expected ODBEleven to be able to do this, and ironically its the only controller that doesn't have these options.
For the record, I dont have VAGCOM anymore.
Many thanks Ste

-Bump- +1 Same request/issue here, but not a customer yet. Would buy OBDEleven when it is implemented and I bet there are more!

Bump +1
Need this, too. Thought obd11 would have that as standard. Now I still need to get a vcds or vcp...

Did an answer ever get posted anywhere to this question? I got this thing to do the flap reset and can't see any way to do it? Am I sending it back for a refund or is this possible? Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.

Does someone got a solution?
My friend got the same problem and saw on Output Tests (channel 008 and 007) a menu with "Convertible Top Flap Initialisation" and more with a red and green thumb. I think it was the developer mode or something like that but we couldnt find it again

Looking as this thread it looks like the Convertible Top Flap Initialisation is not supported by ODBEleven - can anyone confirm whether it is ? If it its not I will simply return the OBDEleven un opened as it is useless for what it was purchased for

Unfortunately I am also having issues doing flap initialization :-( Tried Roof Control -> Basic settings -> Flap initialization but I get red bar saying: (11) Function unavailable
Is it obdeleven issue? Can it be fixed by using some access code? It doesn't suggest any for secured access.

This is a typical failure due to problems with the roof flap servo. You can read more about how to resolve this issue in the UK TT Forum, see link below. Generally, the grease used to lubricate the gears migrates on to the 'sensor' which is just a potentiometer. When this happens, the roof flap servo creates an 'implausible' signal, meaning a voltage range outside the expected range. The convertible top control module will then disable the console switch to prevent automatic operation as it no longer 'knows' where the roof flaps are in relation to the frame and is preventing a collision between the two. This is why you have to manually open/close the top. If you follow the link below, you can find an additional post on how to remove, clean and re-install the flap servos. It's a very easy DIY, but it does require an Adaptation in order to clear the fault and 'teach' the CM the new voltage max-min values - With regards to the OBDeleven, it is NOT capable of performing this adaptation. I have tested it myself (you can read it here www.ttforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1926901) At the moment, only the Ross-Tech VCDS is able to perform the convertible flap servo adapation.
