Does anyone know if it's possible to enable a horn honk and/or increasing the indicator light brightness when using the remote start? When it's bright out I have a hard time telling if the remote start actually worked.

Found over in the Golf forums and performed this morning and appears to have worked/changed per the mod.
This changes the throttle to be more linear i.e. feel more like an old-school 1:1 pedal travel to throttle response vs. the stock more progressive feel that is causing folks to think that the Atlas is underpowered b/c they aren't getting on the gas hard enough. Enjoy.

Thank you for the accurate list of mods. I applied a lot of them for my Atlas and it makes the car more livable now. I was wondering if anyone found out a way to disable the feature that turns on the parking brake when the door is open at low speeds. Also, has anyone found out how to set the default to the forward assist? I want mine to default right in front of the car, not the middle like they have it programmed.

Hi all. First time user and new to VW. I have the Atlas SEL premium and when I am trying to do the following
Unblock infotainment menus while moving
1/ Select Control Unit: 5F Information Control Unit
2/ Select Adaptations
3/ Select Locked menu contents
4/ Change everything that is "blocked" to "non_blocked."
I can't find Control unit 5F but I find 56 (radio). I go into it and go into adaptation and then to the locked menu contents. I changed all blocked to non-blocked press and hold the check mark and the app comes back with: (31) Function not available
What am I doing wrong. Before that I did use one of the apps for the open/close from the key fob and worked perfect.

hi - did you ever find out about this (activate steering wheel heater during remote start)? i cant locate it in adaptations. any pointers would be much appreciated. it’s getting cold here in the Great White North...

I like to know if the "Staging" - This is the needle sweep when you first turn the ignition on
- will it work on Digital gauge or just analog gauge setup?
Add - rear wiper did not work give an error (31 functions).

Hello everyone, I did this mod on my Atlas to active my rear liftgate on clicking the switch for the liftgate on the driver side door when open. 1. control unit 2. select Door electronic Driver side (42) 3. long coding 4. look for loudspeaker_gate_Illumination > not_active> Active 5. confirm and enjoy  Enjoy update, when you used the remote on open/closing liftgate = have sound also, if you pull the lift gate down to active closing will have sound / no sound if press the button located at liftgate door !! |

Looking for coding to change the HBA (High Beam Assist) speed threshold Currently, I believe it only activates once the car is moving at 37mph or higher I would like to change this to 10mph or lower if possible Rafale - did you ever find a solution for this? I'm looking for the same thing. |

tigeo - i've tried this with no luck for my Atlas SE/Tech 4motion. The app won't take any security codes. The list shows a ton of codes but none worked. Any idea what security code you used? I tried changing the first one in zv autolock to not active as that's the menu item that translates to the correct one but it didn't do anything. It's currently at not active and I'm just leaving it so if the above doesn't work then change the first option to not active (automatisches verriegeln bei geschwindigkeit)

"5 brake-light mod" - uses inner tails as brake lights in addition to outers and high-mount third light (this is for 2018 non-LED tails). All brake light intensity set to 127 (don't have to do this, default is "100" so if that's ok with you, no need to change channels 20 and 21):

A/C Recirculation Memory - This change remembers your last recirculation setting. The default setting remembers your setting based on a timer after ignition cycle (ex: 15-20 mins, not sure on what the actual time is).
Steps:
0/ Control Units
1/ Air Conditioning 08
2/ Long Coding
3/ Hit the coding icon at the top right kind of looks like this: [0]1
4/ Dismiss warning
5/ Select Byte 4 >> Current value: 20
6/ Uncheck Bit 5
7/ Check Bit 4 >> New value should change to: 10

I could not save this setting with the recommended security codes in the obdeleven app. Can you add the security code that is needed for this setting? The security code is 19249.
