On the gallons to fill up, I confirmed today that it will not sure 1 gal...2 is the min so figure at least 50 miles or so before it will show up after a fill up.

You don't have a "light assist" in the light menu? Manual says it should be there. I do have a light assist section but it only has options to set comfort blinking on/off, how quickly auto lights come on and whether they are activated by rain. There is not an option in the menu to disable the auto high beams. Those are activated by turning the light switch (LCM) to Auto and then tapping the blinker stalk to activate brights. |

Ok, really trying to work out the offroad information menu/screen with the cool gauges. I have exhausted my searching. I read one board (that I can't find now of course) that it will work if you don't have NAV (so SEL Premium) just not all of the functions i.e. altitude. Does anyone here have details on how to get this to work? I tried a few things last night I was finding and I got nothing out of it in terms of the menu to turn it on. I am in a SEL 4Motion.

Ok, looking for the rear wiper park feature. After turning car off, front seems to return to parked position but rear...stays in middle of rear window if it is in the middle of a wipe cycle. Anyone?

Change the background on the dash display (non-digital dash) from the white cloud (1) to yellow carbon fiber (3). There are other options but none did anything beyond these 2 choices.

Has anyone been able to access module 6c camera system in atlas sel premium.if you do, can you turn on 3_d presentation on in long coding and tell us what byte and bit have changed when turned on. I can access mine, but can't change anything do to error "something went wrong, try again". Thanks

Hello,
I just purchased an Atlas in Canada (Comfortline) which I believe is the same as the SE model. It does not come with equipped Driver memory seats.. However what I was wondering if there was any way to somehow maybe link the seat positions to the Driver profile that's available in the 8" Touchscreen display, or possibly to each keyfob..
Or is this option now even accessable if you didn't purchase that feature.

A cool one to try and one I have been searching for...offroad gauges on Atlas without Navi. Found it a while back and didn't save it...never could find it but finally did. Will try tonight. Edit. Works as expected - I have the oil temp, coolant temp, and angle of the wheels. The compass and elevation do not work per the comments in the attached. I do get an fault code in the 5F control module that it is "improperly coded" but no biggie...it's b/c you turn on the nav and it doesn't have it. Final comment, the attached instructions aren't quite right. You don't need to touch the setting within the BAP GEN 2 menu - it's not need and this is confirmed against a backup of 5F from a SEL-P that I have. Enjoy.  |

Has anyone tried to implement adaptive lane tracking on their Atlas lately? I converted the following VCDS code (from the VWVortex forum "Ross Tech VCDS support and DIY for the Atlas" - I will post there as soon as I am granted access) to Obdeleven code
1). On Select Control Module screen, click "Select"
2). Select “A5-Frt Sens. Drv. Assist”
3). Select “Coding - 07”
4). Select “Long Coding Helper”
5). On the long coding windows:
select(highlight) “Byte 14” area, then select the “Bit 5-7” @ “80 Point of Intervention: early (Changeable via Menu)”
( change “Stored value” {40 Point of Intervention: late} to -> “New value” {80 Point of Intervention: early (Changeable via Menu)}
The Point of Intervention options for Early, Early (Changeable via Menu) and Late (Changeable via Menu) are no longer there. The ability to change Point of Intervention options are also available as an Adaptation but once again the additional options are not available.
Is this the result of a mistake I'm making? Has VW changed the control module code? Any thoughts?

I blocked the camera (with dark paper) and headlights automatically came on, and when i flick the high-beam stalk forward, i get the logo on the MFD in the dash (looks like headlight with "A" in middle: will upload img later) Hi everyone, I have an SE w/Tech Package and want to do the light assist modification. Could someone give some clarification into the steps for this mod. It's confusing the part that says "but this is where there is a unique change for the atlas:....." What exactly is the step after step 8? |

Also, the bit about the menu (bottom one in my list, Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent) isn't necessary and somewhat redundant and just allows it to stay on all the time i.e. when you turn it off and then get back in and start it, the auto high beam will still be activated...I don't find that necessary and to be honest, the feature is somewhat annoying in a suburban enviro..on/off/on/off! Moderator, a few edits on these that are in the first post: Menu Display Compass - OFF ROAD WITH AND WITHOUT NAVI 1 - Module 5F - Electronic Information 1. Code (20103) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Car Function Adaptations Gen 2 4 - Search submenu - Menu compass display (ON) 5 - Search submenu - Menu display compass over threshold (ON) 6- Select - Car Function List Bap Gen 2 REMOVE - NOT NEEDED 7 - Search submenu - Compass Ox15 (ON) REMOVE - NOT NEEDED 8 - Search submenu - Ox15 Compass msg bus (data bus comfort) REMOVE - NOT NEEDED 9 - Byte 24 Navigation System 10 - Change value to On. This mod does not allow all functions without NAVI. Logically altitude and compass does not display data. Also reports a fault in the module 5F saying that environmental data missing (Only reports to do analysis with OBDeleven, nothing comes on screen) A normal error and do not have to worry. REMOVE NEXT BIT - With NAVI everything works 100% If you want me to show the angle of rotation of the wheels on this menu you have to make the mod Slope Angle of View menu. Hello,
Anyone know if there's a way to turn off the automatic engine shutoff when the car comes to a full stop? I know that you can press the physical button; however, the change is not persistent and the button must be pressed every time you start the car (if you don't want the car engine to turn off when the car stop, say for example at a red light).

Looking for coding to change the HBA (High Beam Assist) speed threshold
Currently, I believe it only activates once the car is moving at 37mph or higher
I would like to change this to 10mph or lower if possible
