Thank you for your answer, I swapped module C for A and still the same situation: no CAN and ETHERNET communication in the gateway. I checked the connection of wires from A to B, several times  . Does the 5WA907530N Gateway not want to talk to 5H0035456A amplifiers? Or maybe the 5F module has its own "sub" GVL in 'em, in which the amplifier will appear?  |

Have you coded the amp in the gateway as mentioned by mintfotog:
“In order to get the harman kardon to work you need to go to the list of control units. Press the little pencil in the upper right corner. Choose gateway. And find the 47 Sound System module. Check the box. Click code. It will now code the unit into the gateway module installation list. You should be able to change coding.”
Also this:
“It took multiple attempts to get it coded into the gateway. Two 47 Sound System modules appear, and activating either or both kept giving errors for "SFD problem" or "Invalid control unit activation status".
Eventually it went through after several attempts with both of the 47 modules selected in the gateway. “

yes, I followed the thread "https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/18348/golf-harman-kardon-amplifier-coding".  First, I performed the coding according to the instructions of user ass4ssin14. As soon as I switch "Change Sound System from " internal" to " external ethernet", I get a warning about the failure of the parking assist. Things start to get interesting... There is clearly a conflict, but I don't know if it's on CAN or Ethernet. So I made a few attempts: I first tried to activate the sound 47 module, then encode it - the sound module remains black. Then I reversed the process: first I coded and then activated sound module 47 - still no access to the module. And in gate 19 there is still no sign that the amplifier has registered. I made many coding attempts and they all ended the same - no sound and no access to module 47. Perhaps a different car configuration requires different coding? E.g. activation and other Ehernet settings than those provided by ass4ssin14? Today I will try to see what VCPSYSTEM shows. |

Ok, this is what I managed to determine after connecting to VCPSYSTEM: - The gateway kept displaying the message: "U106A00 - Digital sound system control module No Communication". After disconnecting the amplifier module and clearing the errors, the U106A00 error disappeared. AHA! , so there is some communication with the gateway. I returned to Obdeleven, coded module 47 with my finger, but the module was still black (no communication). It was impossible to enter module 47 from obdeleven, because it showed that there was "no communication" and immediately went to the gateway screen. I returned to VCPSYSTEM and with its help I managed to enter module 47. And in the module it correctly shows the amplifier 5H0035456A with software number 4315  . Everything else is blocked - I can't even test the speakers. Of course, the module has a component protection lock that I have to remove and probably parameterize the amplifier module, but I can do that via ODIS. What is important is that the amplifier module talks to the gateway  , but it was not visible from the Obdeleven level  .   |

To connect the amplifier electrically, I used the GOLF 1.0 PETROL diagram from 2019 and there was CAN-H (28) and CAN-L (36). However, I recently found an audio connection diagram from a Golf 8 variant 2.0TDI and there was CAN-H (36) and CAN-L (28).  I reversed the connections and OBD11 had no problems with detection and connection. However, it still did not work well with the amplifier, despite coding. I decided to flash it with the file "FL_5H0035456A.frf" and after performing the operation, everything worked,  but only until I turned the car off. After turning it on again, there was no communication again. Hmmm ... I decided to reverse CAN-H with CAN-L again and after starting the car, the amplifier started communicating (and there were no more problems with operation). Of course the protection component was active, so ODIS. |

One more update - for those who plan to install an amplifier and not replace the factory speakers, you will be surprised: every time you unlock the car, the system checks the speakers electrically (buzzing from the speakers). If the speakers are missing or there are different results after the test (there are no factory HK speakers), the car will throw an error: parking assistant and front parking sensor failures  . Despite the fact that the sensors work, when you approach an obstacle, there will be no sound . |

Small update - after installing speakers in the front doors of the car (original HK - two coils), the front parking sensors and braking system started functioning properly - there are no errors. |

5H0035456C is for ID4 and ID5. it's cheaper in china so...aliexpress will send you C instead of A.
The structre inside is a little bit different since there is no rush current when starting engine for electric car.
will have diffrent capacitor btw C and A.
So you have to ask the seller index A is a must.
