Hey all, I have a brand new Golk MK8 and want to activate a few features using long code.
Some require SFD to be unlocked but it seems OBDeleven is unable to do so or I am doing something wrong.
I open my hood and left door, connect the dongle and app having my cars system powered on without a running engine, perform a full scan, remove all errors but still get an error when trying to unlock Andy console's SFD protection. I have two way authentication and my profile is up to date and I am using a pro plan
The error shows "something went wrong, try again"
Do you have any I put for me? Am I the only one with this problem? What am I doing wrong?

I believe it auto-unlocks SFD on the module you're attempting to long code when you apply the coding. Unsure if it errors out when attempting to manually unlock SFD on a module that is already unlocked. From the FAQ support.obdeleven.com/en/collections/3195142-sfd:"To simplify SFD protection usage, we have created SFD auto-unlock feature which will make SFD protection almost invisible. If SFD auto-unlock is turned on and you try to change Long coding, Adaptation or use One-Click Apps in locked control unit OBDeleven application will automatically ask for the SFD token from Volkswagen servers, unlock control unit, and store value which you would like to change. You will need to have a PRO or ULTIMATE plan in order to use this. WARNING: the unlock of SFD will not work if you are located in China. "

Hey ch47av8r , that's just it, neither unlocking the full control unit in the "main module view" or only for a specific activation/adaptation/long coding attempt works. in short, i can't unlock SFD to write new value's. SFD auto-unlock is turned on. I never got the queston to input a "SFD token" I have a PRO plan I don't live in China Nothing i try to do seems to work. I have one question: does the hood need to be fully opened or is is OK to “unlatch it” Meaning, fully open the hood or us it OK to keep it unlocked but not fully open?
