Im new with obdeleven and new with vag and i have similar problem.
No mention of unece.
Before i unlock sfd by app, i checked live data from sfd and there was no activation active. But AFTER i unlock sfd by app at shows protection.

I do some stuff in 17 dashboard, but nothing in 09 central electrics.
I tried lots of security codes, no winning ticket.
Do i need security code and if i do, where can i get one for that spesific car.

My ios app is 1.9.44 This is the Android APP they have not released a new version of the IOS so you will either have to use Android (which has more features anyway) or Wait for the IOS Dev team to release this update assuming you don't already have it (remember all this is saying is you can now use the scan feature on all control units.)

So Im a wholesaler of westfaila bars, they sent out a newsletter yesterday and in it was sfd2, according to them its delays from VW that they cant sell retrofit bars (they make all the bars for VW group) and they have been told spring 2025 to be able to from VW. So it seem all delays are from VW side.

Does OBDeleven managment are going to make any agreement with VAG to proceed with SFD2? its crazy that you cant even make simple coding like seatbelt deactivation or RVC retrofit.

So I bought OBD11 as my Seat Ateca 2024 was on the supported vehicle list. Even got the plan and all. Just to find out after trial and error and searching this whole forum, that my car probably has sfd2 and I can’t do anything with it. Nice… Can get a connection to the gateway unit. Which is useless as there is nothing that needs to be changed in there. There are no real updates, communication. Website doesn’t mention anything on this…

It seems that they won't advertise this SFD2 situation on their website because that would prevent new customers on purchasing their "solutions". I have suggested their support team that they place an advertisement on their website several times but they just play dumb and will only reply that they will "open a ticket". At this point it seems to me that they are in need of the monetary income even at expense of customers which will end up with a non working brick. Maybe they are about to solve this, which I doubt since it has been around for more than a year. At the end they are selling something that is not delivering what was advertised, it is at least false advertising. They should post on their website "for 2024 car owners, our device will just work to provide and reset fault information." |

Kann eine Verbindung zur Gateway-Einheit herstellen. Das ist nutzlos, da es nichts gibt, was dort geändert werden muss. Es gibt keine wirklichen Updates, Kommunikation. Website erwähnt nichts auf diesem... Es gibt viele von uns auf dem gleichen Boot. Es scheint, dass sie diese SFD2-Situation nicht auf ihrer Website bewerben werden, weil dies neue Kunden daran hindern würde, ihre "Lösungen" zu kaufen. I have heard something about mid-2025, this is also related to the VAG group, either they have not yet released it for third-party providers or it depends on the IT thing in the background. Yes I have heard the same thing that VAG Are still working on a solution for third party tools and it will be next year before we see it. Shame that OBD11 dont tell us this as others third party tools are very clear they dont support 2024+ motors currently |

Man kann es aber verstehen, jeder mlchte keine negativen Nachrichten verteilen, aber obdeleven war schon immer so, immer im Hintergrund gearbeitet und abgeliefert. Schaut man sich carlyapp dagegen an, wird überall Werbung gemacht und es geht kaum etwas. carlyapp kann noch nichtmal SFD1 entsperren, nicht mal VCDS kann es, da muss man sich zusätzlich den Token dafür kaufen, dies geht aber alles bei OBDeleven. Ich hoffe auch dass es so schnell wie möglich geht. Da ich zur Zeit an meinen neuen Q3 auch nicht heran komme 🤷🏻♂️.

But you can understand it, everyone doesn't want to spread negative news, but obdeleven has always been like this, always working in the background and delivering. If you look at carlyappapp, on the other hand, there are adverts everywhere and hardly anything works. carlyappapp can't even unlock SFD1, not even VCDS can, you have to buy the token for it, but this is all possible with OBDeleven. I also hope that it works as quickly as possible. As I can't get to my new Q3 at the moment either 🤷🏻♂️.
I would agree we dont want lots of negative news but if OBD11 could provide updates (even monthly would be good) that would keep people informed on what is going on.
I would also agree their website does not tell you there is a problem with the 2024+ models and it should have this otherwise in my mind its false advertising but that is a different issue for now.
All I want is feedback from the development team, I suspect they are a/w VAG Dev team in which case just say that so we all know. Ich stimme zu, dass wir nicht viele negative Nachrichten wollen, aber wenn OBD11 Updates zur Verfügung stellen könnte (sogar monatlich wäre gut), würde das die Leute darüber informieren, was vor sich geht.
Ich stimme auch zu, dass die Website nicht sagt, dass es ein Problem mit den 2024+ Modellen gibt, und das sollte auch so sein, sonst ist es meiner Meinung nach falsche Werbung, aber das ist jetzt ein anderes Thema.
Alles, was ich will, ist eine Rückmeldung vom Entwicklungsteam. Ich vermute, dass es sich um ein VAG-Entwicklungsteam handelt, in diesem Fall sollte man das einfach sagen, damit wir alle Bescheid wissen.

Yes some updates on this would be nice, unless there isn't anything to update...
I spoke to my dealer and they can only fit and program stuff you install later, like a tow bar or rearview camera. But they don't turn off things like ISA or can't tune the engine/gearbox because that is against policy/warranty.
When I spoke to a professional tuner he said that for my car it is impossible to tune these cars yet. He did not have any idea when 2024/2025 cars will be tunable. So it seems in my country (Netherlands) only official dealers have full access.
Anyway, I raised a ticket through Paypal and atleast got my money back for the subscription. I will keep the tool for now.
All we can do is wait...

Bought an OBD11 adapter with a year Pro License for my brand-new 2024 Audi Q2, but I can't change anything, whatever I try, I always get an error, so I guess the car also has SFP2, too bad this isn't mentioned, money down the drain unfortunately...

Just ask for your cash back as they have sold you a device that does not do what it say's it does.
As a Minimum I would ask for a refund on your Pro License which you can buy again when they support your motor
