Has anyone been successful in modding a 2024 year model? I learned from an expert coder that SFD 2 has not been unlocked yet. Therefore we are not able to code some of the things in OBDeleven in our cars

Nope - my 2024 a6 avant is locked down- odb11 doesn't work - professional coder can't do any mods - can't even get my ai box to work with this bad car - sorry I bought it

you can code a few bits but some modules are locked down like Central Electrics, Gateway, Multimedia to name a few. I managed to change some stuff in driver assistance but most of the time i need to do something in Central Electrics and i cant so kinda pointless for any MY24 VAG cars at this stage.

Is this problem across the VAG Range as I thought it was only applied currently to the Audi models (as many things are first tried on Audi)

same here today. tried to connect ODB11 to 2024 q4 etron. No connection possible.
Alternative way with VCDS showed possible connection but only a very blocks were readable at all.
Looking forward for SFD2 support in ODB11

The OBDeleven app shows compatibility with 2024 models, so I ordered mine while my car is waiting at the port. Device has arrived, car has a few weeks left.
Looking for progress here, otherwise I have a nice albeit light paperweight in my hands. Any news in the last month?

No news, Personally not expecting any fix soon as VW Have to provide the interface and then OBD11 have to build solution. But hopefully its an easy fix.

Then this is the product you need which puts together the VAS interface with a remote session to unlock modules for 90 minutes on 2024 models. |

So I got an email today from the support person helping me. They say SFD2 Is now unlocked for 2024 s5 models and to update to latest version of the app. However I was still not able to code the RS animations. Can someone else confirm it works or try coding something else?

I just tried (with updated VAG app). SFD unlocking was succesful, however no coding nor adaptations were successful within SFD protected units. Still received the spinning wheel or perpetual cycling of “writing” and “unlocking”. Apps all returned “Function Not Available”.

But there’s an issue in the fine print: “Note that a small number of modules cannot be unlocked at the moment which include: [03], [19], [44], [46], [5F]. Please inquire for further details prior to ordering to confirm if the module(s) being worked with can be unlocked if you are unsure.” So, still no coding with that solution for central locking (removing the silly range limitation) and multimedia (CarPlay limitations), etc. Wish this whole problem were more transparent. |

I have the same issue ie “Function not available” when trying to use certain one click apps. |

Did it work for you? I have a 2014 model I just share the info that OBD11 are not very good at sharing.
If you have one click apps that dont work contact support directly but be aware it may be your motor does not have the required hardware/software to work or it could be the app needs to be fixed

That is fair. But for 2023-2024 owners, the issue is identical whether it’s an app., adaptation, or long coding. There persists an issue in the SFD access. |

and just to add to this I spoke with support this morning and got the following response

So that you know, the SFD2 unlock for Audi vehicles has already been released.
If something is still not working, these cases have to be investigated individually.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Thanks, as you have released (which if you read my post I had already said) then the helpfile should be updated in my opinion.
Secondly I have already told the users on the forum (see link provided) that they should contact you just wanted to make sure this was not a known issue.

I have a 2024 Q5e and would like to enable TPMS in the dash and easy entry. Are these available?

From what OBD11 Have told us if the control unit is SFD Protected and its an Audi it wont work, best bet is speak with support and ask if the one click app you want to use will work.
If you are trying to code changes on a protected control unit then again if its blocked by the new security then it should give you an error and not change anything
In theory if you run a one click app and its blocked by the new feature then it wont work and you will get an error message and nothing changed.

Can OBD Eleven Pro currently unlock the headlight module so I can custom code the headlight activation if the car has SFD2? It's a 2024 Audi Q8 E-tron.

As I have said on other threads OBD11 are very poor at communication to the Community. My current understanding is no coding is possible if the control unit has SFD on it but its best to ask support directly as they dont answer questions on the forum very often.

That's not quite true.
I looked for an app that was cheap and simple, and I was able to disable seatbelt warning as an app, but most apps show they're not supported. See my screenshots in this thread a few days ago.

does the control unit you changed have SFD on it because according to OBD11 if it does then you cant code it was my understanding.
