I initially changed only the 16 to the same as the 18 and tested, it flashed the left external flasher and the left external flashlight on the right side together. hmm...............maybe re-read my instructions - this is what I actually said copy Leuchte 16 onto Leuchte 18 and Leuchte 17 onto Leuchte 19
So - I suggested that you copy Leuchte 16 onto Leuchte 18.
I did NOT suggest that you copy Leuchte 18 onto Leuchte 16!!
There is a huge difference between the two way of making these changes!!

Don good evening, I made the settings as you told me in the photo above, and now I have correctly set up 16,17,18 and 19 also in the sequence you sent. Unfortunately it doesn't work on the 2018 Passat b8. It goes totally crazy, I had to go back to the way it was. But I still appreciate your help. 👍🏻

If my suggested coding works on Leuchte16 and Leuchte17 - it doesn't make sense that applying EXACTLY the same settings on Leichte18 and Leuchte19 makes the tail-lights "crazy"! Hi, can you pls post video how it works. I did the urban joke on tail lights, but it only works in daytime running lights when in auto light position. As soon as it gets dark they are no more as urban joke. I would like to work them on the brake as well. I am not sure if it is possible. Thanks a lot.
This is the video I found on youtube. From the beginning of the video is the same like my taillights are when blinking right or left or in pace, but only in auto position and in daytime lights.

ruinalin22 : Why do your want the rear light to "flash" in reverse? How will this flash be decoded be drivers at the rear of this car?
Leutche programming has a limited set of commands. I'm not aware of a Leuchte-command that provides a flash when reverse gear is selected. The ONLY Leuchte-command for reverse is Rueckfahrlicht - this provides a steady-state light (not a flash) when reverse is selected.
