If you haven’t disabled it then set you acc have assist systems displaying and undertake, car will slow to the car your undertaking (I drive on the left 😉) So that works normally? Nothing to enable? I never use that setting, might be a reason why I’m never seen it |

For cars with the AID (mine is a 7.5 GTI), when you turn the ignition off and you get the little graphic of the car turning in front of you and it then tells you how many miles you have covered since start and the duration, is there any way to get it to display other data as well such as range to empty and average MPG for the journey - I could have dreamt this but I'm sure I've seen this on another VW model with AID ?
Also, has anyone yet found a way (of if it's even possible) to have red needles in the AID rather than the standard white ones ?

Hi gays I have same problem as jelico115. I make all according manual and now i have only one colour on bar - blue. maybe you have already some solutions for that issue? I wont ask also about audio sound muting. My previous golf have button on steering wheel to mute sound from radio, in my previous alltrack I have same button but when I press him I receive info on display to go to my diler to activate voice control, of course $$$$ so i no need that, prefer to have sound muting. I found in obd option to switch off voice control so now when I press that button nothing happen, no any info on display, so now need to coding muting for that button - it is possible?  ? |

It turned out to be the background lighting needed resetting in the reset menu

Question  when the ignition is turned off, the street name is displayed in the upper left corner on discovery media, but when ignition is switched on the street name disappears and the driving profile appears. can you make it show the street name on the radio or maybe even on the active info display with the ignition on? |

Found that, checked and work with my car: mirror light is working from begining unfolding, before light was on after mirrors unfold.  |

NAR headlights and taillights don't have the hardware needed for dynamic blinking. You have to replace them with ROW parts or there might be a way to retrofit them but I'm not positive. |

As soon as I get home I'm going to play with that "dynamisch" setting and crank it up from the 10ms and see what it does. Oh I really hope that controls the DRL blinking.

Hi VWJAP,
When you say hadrware, what do you mean? I have the same lights, and the rear sequential indicators, so i am assuming i could achieve the same result. Having looked at this forum and on vcds forum, it seems vw have changed the lighting control modules from the mk7?
Any further details i would appreciate, ax i am trying to learn and understand mlre from those who do.

Well you’d need each individual LED run by a controller, and as it’s cheaper and easier to light a strip than individual LED and as there’s no other pattern from the factory, then I’d have thought VW wouldn’t have gone for that, plus the dynamic rears are a option so if it was possible VW would have made it an option for the front as well,

Do you know if its possible to do an adaptation to have the sidlights on as drl's when the ignition is on? I have tried enabling the option in the mib gen2, no joy, even after rebooting the head unit. I believe this can be coded/ adapted but dont know where to start with the different leucht settings.

Colleagues,
Just turn on in your golf 7.5 top LED front indicators and record it with your phone or some camera in a slow motion, you will see that they already work as semi dynamic. First they turn on the internal ones, then the outside lights up and for a moment they are both on, next internal off, and it only outside on. I made the recording with iphon 7 in slow-motion mode.
It follows from this that they act sequentially just like the movie above, they only do it very quickly.

Hey woody I tried to change Dinamishe options from 10 ms to 20 ms, but I did not see any effects, maybe I need to increase more, for example 1000 ms. Now I'm in work, I'm coming back home in a month, maybe by then someone will find this setting. Record your turn signals in a slow motiont and see how it looks, I hope that I did not foresee it. |
