Is there a way to disable coasting on the DSG? It's constantly going in an out of coast if you're in a flow of traffic doing 40-50mph as it wants to coast the instant you're off the throttle. It'd be better if you could at least make it wait 5 seconds before going into a coast as it can't be doing the clutch any favours.

Did you find a solution for this? On my 2018 T6 this can be selected in the onboard vehicle settings menu. On some newer vehicles, i think it is also disabled if you switch off the auto start/stop system.

Unfortunately not. The only workaround for it is putting the DSG into S mode instead of D. Even disabling start-stop doesn't stop it coasting when you're moving.

Don’t have the first option in that thread in long coding weirdly.
Gateway module 19 - Long coding - FPA function freilauf
Definitely module 19?

Unfortunately not. I had another look around yesterday as well but couldn't find the option anywhere. I'm just driving exclusively in S mode on the gearbox now - worse fuel economy but at least it stays in gear...

I did not even know there where troubles with my suggested change, I was just looking for all the changes that could be done to an Seat Leon (For if I should choose the Leon for an possible next car. ) -it can be that your car does not state "FPA_Funktion_Freilauf_DefaultON" and "Sailing_function" because (as I later found out) those names are put in by some other users (see warning 3th screenshot). I put in screenshots because I’m not sure if the bits are counted top down or bottom up (for the text below I used top down because that seems most logical for me if your unsure look at the screenshots I took and compare to yours.) So in text form with bits an bytes: 1 Gateway module 19 - Long coding - Byte 09 flip bit 5 OFF 2 Adaptive Cruise Control module 13 - Long coding - byte 11 flip bit 7 to ON *THIS CHANGE IS DONE ON A SEAT IBIZA 2021! IN A LEON IT CAN BE DIFFRENT!* I can say im driving with the change since may this year still dont have trubbles with it.
