Hi Guys,

Is there a way to enable "pulsating" of the engine SS button?

The old "procedure" from the below thread is no longer available:

I've tried to search for the ZAT_illumination_*_mybeat_* fields in B7 module but with no luck:

       DevCod_ Search lights:

                activated
            Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_OpenLoadErkennung_aktiv:

Is this coding still possible? Any suggestions/advices will be highly appreciated.

Has been renamed in the descriptions, give these two a try.

[VO]_DevCod_ Search lights:
[LO]_Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_Beleuchtung_SES_Variante_aktiv: [VN]_not_activated
[LO]_Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_SES_Mode: [VN]_not_activated

But I personally do not think this looks very well as the ZAT-Button does not stand out visually. There is no way to increase the brightness

Please be so kind to set your app's language to English when posting screenshots and before trying out coding suggestions.
This will help everbody to understand and advise.

I confirm this coding is working:

Adaptation
    Control unit: B7 Start System Interface
    Name: DevCod_ Search lights
    Values: 
        Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_Beleuchtung_SES_Variante_aktiv: 
            Old value: Not activated
            New value: activated
        Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_SES_Mode: 
            Old value: Not activated
            New value: activated

The heart-beat effect pulses when the door is unlocked and the engine is not turned-on and after the engine is switched-off and the interior lights are still illuminated. Whilst the engine is running, the button illumination is steady.

This will not work if you have dsg with the white rectangular illuminated start button. That is because the start button is missing the necessary hardware. The start button from the Gt cars with dsg is different from those of the Life/ Style and R-line.
