HBA Assist. How do I code "Byte 02 Bit0-2" to a value of 03?

I can understand opening Byte 02, and it displays the image attached.

I can understand either selecting or un-selecting each Bit value..... but it says to mark "Bit0-2 to 03".... what exactly do I select or un-select to achieve this?

Hi quick question is have used the information here to turn on the fog lights with the full beam and that works a treat but it only works when flashing the lights not when you push the stalk forward to keep the full beam on is there more coding needed for this. Also i changed the threshold speed that the cornering lights shut off at from 40kph to 60kph but they have stopped working altogether?

If you have then you can just reverse everything for now and then try and understand why the coding was wrong.

Hi all, am new here. Has anyone tried doing a DSG reset/adaptation on the Ocatvia 7 speed DSG (DQ200) using OBDELEVEN? If so, could you share the steps. I found a post in the Golf forum that discusses how to do this but I couldn't use that as the steps seem different for the Octavia.

Also, and this is perhaps a naive question, is DSG reset and adaptation the same or are they different things? And is there a clutch reset/adaptation as well? The reason I want to try this is to get rid of a slight shuddering I sometimes feel in the 2nd gear, at slow speeds, while trying to accelerate and I am given to understand a DSG reset/adaptation will solve the problem.

Sorry to tell you but what I have experienced, if you have shuddering in low speed, the problem is in clutch itself. I had before VW Passat 2013 with that 7-speed DSG and they tried to reset the gearbox and make adaptation and all other stuff but finally they had to change the clutch to new one. They done that under warranty even the warranty time was over.

But remember my VW was older model that had originally different clutch system that newer models, I think it was changed in 2015.
So maybe new adaptation can solve the problem with newer models.
I don't have any coding for that.

realnissen whey you say its not there do you mean non of your control modules are showing long code.
If that is the case then clear app data cache and see if that helps.

If you are looking at control unit 09 (cent elec) and you have a facelift care (my2017) then you are correct as VW Moved all the switches into Adaptions.

I try to code signal from BCM for auxiliary light relay, but I have a little problem. B2 and B39 are the only pins that are not active in adaptations and physical pins exist in the module. The problem is that even lasttyp is not active and all the light functions are not active, the pins gives 12 volts if DRLs are ON.This problem occurred already before I changed adatations. If I select (for example B39) lasttyp as 36 LED kleistrung, light funtion A to fehrlicht links, light function B to lichthupe generel, Dimmwert AB 0 to 127. Lampendefwktobitposition is 0 and fehlerort mittleres Byte dtc-dffc is 0 as well. When DRLs are off and I turn high beam active, the pin gives voltage as it should. Any ideas to solve this?

^^^^ arto: I'm guessing, but I suspect that your car has HID headlight fittings. This would explain why B2 and B39 are not activated from the factory - these Leuchte-sets are used for high-beam on Halogen globes. If your car does have HIDs (and not incandescent/Halogen headlights) the high-beams are controlled by B23 and B22. Check "function A" on B23 and it should have the value Fernlicht links

My original purpose was to take unused terminal in use and wire it for the signal to relay, and keep the existing wires untouched. This is a quite popular way to take a signal for auxiliary lights. Those pins, B2 and B39, is not in use (not wired either), so I was looking for a reason, why those pins gives voltage when drl is on even those should not have programmed light function.
