HI! I am also looking at activating traffic jam assist. I actually ordered my car WITH it, but got it WITHOUT. very annoying... You sure you haven't got it? As I thought mine hasn't got it until I found out exactly how it works. You have to have ALG enabled in the settings, then put the ACC on under 30mph on a road with good markings and see it the lane guidance symbol goes green |

I've been searching high and low at no avail, but I was wondering if it is possible to long code the following:
- Light Assist always on (when light sensor has switched from DLR ot low beams. I.e without activating the lever for high beams)
- Rain sensor always on (i.e. also with the windscreen wiper lever in OFF postion)

Tried this on a 2017 UK Golf
This is my version of comfort blink - proven out on MY2014 Golf R.
Comfort Blink Cycle:
Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics)
Security access
Access Code 31347
Select Adaptation
Scroll or search for Turn Signal Control - select this option
This opens up a set of options, select the 2nd Komforblinken Blinkzyklen
Input the required number 1 to 5 (default is 3, set mine to 5)
select OK
select Green Tick to confirm.
To fully activate this change you must then do the following:
On the infotainment unit select CAR
go into Set Up, scroll to the bottom and select Factory Settings
Scroll down to Mirrors & Wipers and select this option
This will open a dialog box stating "Reset Light setting - are you sure"
Select the RESET option.

Hello, in the meantime, congratulations because I have unlocked the Video in Motion and I'm very happy.
PROBLEM! I wanted to unlock the colors (from 3 to 10), but evidently I touched something that was wrong.
Do you have the original configuration (mounted / unmounted - Active / Not Active) to restore the original conditions?
If you were so kind then give me instructions on how to unlock the various additional colors, you would do me a huge courtesy, but the most important is that of the restoration because I can no longer choose colors but only light intensity.

Hi,
To change the Image in your car I can tell you what I do to change in my Passat.
Connect your car to OBDeleven - control units - choose 5F - make a back up - choose long coding - change surface to the view of bytes and bits:
Byte 0 - 2:
028402 is Passat Variant
or
028401 is Passat Limosine
Adjust - press green button long time to save the adjustment.
This is what I can tell you from my knowledge. Without warranty. Try if you want. In my opinion you can change the image in this way. Good luck.

No coding it’s a firmware flash as all cars have a different security code for that switch (changes speed from 0 to 255) plus check your software version before you try the app because it only works on software versions lower than 1000 |

I have a 2017 Passat. if tried looking to keep the car running and locking it with the key fob but cant find anywhere to do it. Ive tried going to but access control isnt there
