Probably really easy but I've had obdeleven for a day so not familiar.
I have a 2022 golf GTI, I used the one click app to get the golf r instrument cluster which I love.
I would like to retain one particular view from the stock GTI that isn't available any more with the r views.
I want the hexagonal circles as an option still. Is there a way in adaptations I can just enable that one too? Do I have to disable another to make it work?

Display control unit > adaptation > View Activation and set each option one at a time, trial and error that says “not active” to active and see which one re-enables the GTI display. I forget which one does it

Hello
I have activated the GTI and R display view with the aplication and doesn't have the grille on display.i try activate it in the dashboard module, views activation, and don't get it. Someone kown how can i activate it?. Thanks.

I are referring the grille like it can see in this photo:  Now my cockpit looks like this:  My car is a golf 8 1.5 tsi r line, its possible the first view whit the grille? |

Literally set it to logo 4 for GTI, then set it to logo 10 or something. Should do what you’re looking for.

When you’re on view 9 just cycle through the logos to see if you can get any logo to appear. That is definitely weird

It has to do with the software of the AID. With each production year the Golf 8 has received a newer display unit. See list below.

I drive a North American 2022 GTI SE. Infotainment hardware is h58 and the software version is 1880. My dashboard's software version is 5370
It makes more sense you don't get the GTI logo on that view because that view is only for golf R models. Maybe they were like

I’m on H56 and 1788 Software and for me it also won’t display the GTI logo on the R display unfortunately

Maybe they were like You have the 5H0920340B cluster so the software allows the differents logos appear in the R Display View. Works from My22 Golf 8 cars. The very first Aid cluster from the My20 had the R (R-line) logo with the honeycomb style in the dials. It was removed with the newer clusters. Other differences was the time and temperature on the top part of the screen only added from sw 3450 or the visibilty of the odometer which could only be viewed when the car was switched off. With My23 the newer clusters show the maps between the dials.. |

Hi, i have a golf 8 eTSI and I can’t enable the views: when I select any view in Dashboard —> adaptations, I disable SFD protection and I apply change, the OBD app says “function not available”. To resolve I thinking to use the apps with credits. It’s safe or dangerous for my car? Thanks

Sorry the late reply , do you have the hood open when you try? The apps are safe but you should be able to enable some of the views.

I activated view 9 (from Golf R) which is probably one of my favorites, but there are several other views available that I activated however they don't show up. Pretty much everything from 10 to 16 or whatever the last one is don't show up even when I activate them. Anyone know what's up with that and what those views are?
