Hi I have fitted a stop start memory module to the car (which is great and big up to dv52 (Australia) for the details of how to make these) but I have one question is there a long coding bit that enables me to turn off the light on the stop start button like it can on the Mode options. Thanks in advance. Ron - well done and many thanks for your generous words!
As for your question - I'm not aware of a coding mechanism for turning-off the LED on the SS button, but if you look at the wiring diagram below, you will see that the LED is driven by pin #7 on the housing of the center console switch. You could try pulling this wire off the pin (and insulating the wire connector). I'm not sure if the BCM (identified as "J519" in my diagram below) will get cranky when the electrical load from this wire is removed and the BCM tries to illuminate the LED- because I don't know if this wire is monitored for equipment failure. But if this happens - simply replace the wire and clear the DTC error message.
If the BCM does protest when the wire is removed, then I guess that you will need to experiment with a by-pass circuit for the electronics within pin#7. I wouldn't think that this is too complex: simply measure the volts and the electrical current flowing in the Black/Green wire in my picture below (with the wire connected to pin #7 and the LED illuminated). Then calculate a resistor value that will achieve the same electrical current and connect the Black/Green wire to the new resistor (other end of the resistor connected to earth). This should trick the BCM into believing that the Black/Green wire is still connected to pin#7 - I hope!!
But, I have a question for you -why do you want to do this? I find the LED illuminating 5 x seconds after ignition switch-on to be quite reassuring. It tells me that my SS switch is behaving correctly and it confirms that SS is switched-off.
Don
edit: hmm.......... I've clearly been recalcitrant and I've correctly been sent to the naughty-corner for my indiscretion - apology to the forum administrators
here's a copy of my original picture from a more "reputable" web-site:
😂🤣😂 now that’s funny

Can anyone help with getting this to work. I’ve seen elsewhere that you have to go to submenu ZV Komfort but can’t find this or the option below in any of the menus in the Central Electrics control unit. if you have a pre MY16 vehicle - search for Access control 2 and select Freigabenachlauf FH bei Tueroeffnen abbrechen. if you have a newer car - search for ZV Komfort and select Freigabenachlauf FH bei Tueroeffnen abbrechen

Hi, i just bought OBD11 for coding my new Facelift 7.5 LED Matrix with dinamic indicators, that i retrofitted in my Golf TSI Highline 2013 with audiamant harness, the problem is that OBD don't let me do the coding (central electric---> adaptation) i can change values for example in "Leutche20BR LA71" (according to audiamant instructions) but when i click the green flag to confirme, it tels me "not supported error 31" and the values remains alwais on stock... i don't know what to do

Many thanks for your response. I will encode your instructions as soon as possible and let you know if it worked. What do you mean by strange codings? Do I have to change anything? I bought the vehicle used. I bought the radio on ebay and it is offered as a "plug and play", so I just swapped it for my old one and it works as described everything except for the two points. Best regards HI, could you tell me where you have bought the Discover pro plung & play ?

I'm not seeing this anywhere, so I'm going to ask: What would be the manual coding for these options?

Is there a way to code the mic sensitivity (past the the MIB2 options) so "OK Google" will actually respond without me shouting?
Also, is there a way to code the headlights to come on even later than the "late" setting? I feel like they still come on too early.

Does anyone know how to lower the output level of the audio system? Or perhaps add more steps to the volume control? I just installed a Helix system and the volume is very loud at only 6 or 7 clicks from the minimum, which doesn't leave much room for adjustment - most songs are too soft at one level and too loud at the next level when using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
Thanks

Hi! Really need help with the coding for pulsating DRL opposite the blinker. My one touch apps don’t seem to work. I’m tried changing the values in LB4 and RB32 to hellphase but nothing seems to change. Does anyone have what the default values should look like and the necessary changes to make this work correctly?

Follow the link below
Note: the instructions are written for VCDS, but it ain't difficult to translate the process to OBD11 speak

Hi all! Does anybody know how to activate oem alarm with the horn?? I've been searching about that in the forum but it was impossible 😔 Thankss I assume that you have an anti-theft system installed. If so try this: go to the Central electrics module @ address hex09 - go to Adaptation - search for Acknowledgement signals - select Akustische Rueckmeldung Signalhorn and change setting to active
And at some point in the process your OBD11 dongle will get cranky and it will start to complain that it needs a security access code - use the magic number 31347

Thanks for the answer. My golf hasn't got anti-thef, I mean, i need the code for the oem alarm that only works if you open any door of the car, because my golf hasn't have the volumetric sensor.
Cheers

Do you have the 4 dots or 2 dots rain light sensor on your windscreen? 2 dots (newest) doesn’t work

gianry you need vw sensor code 5Q0955547, with no A or B letters at the end of the code, or the Audi 8U0955559C or 81A955555A (tested).
