So I tried the throttle app (changed from normal to "responsive") and it didn't seem to hurt cruise control functionality at all. That being said, it also didn't really make much of a difference to throttle response either. I guess it might be a little less "gradual" and more responsive, but it was hard for me to tell. Maybe because I have a DSG tune?

I, it is possible to make the sound go louder whit the speed? i mean if u acelerate the music volume increase. it's possible to code that?

Should be an option in the radio already. That's the problem there is no option I have the option on my MIB2, but it doesn't really seem to work.. at least I haven't noticed any change with the adjustments. Doesn't seem to do anything at all. |

I know this is not the Beetle thread. There is nothing going on there. I just got the OBDeleven. I started checking it out and drained my battery. The DRL goes on when I push on the ignition. I have keyless entry. I read I can recode so when the handbrake is on the DRL is off. I got these instructions on this forum.
DRL off when the handbrake is on
Select-control unit 09 (Central Electrics)
Control unit long coding
Byte 23
Bit 4 activate
I found the control unit 09. I scroll down to 00. This is where I find the DRL hard code. Below it says, Daytime running lights inactive with the handbrake engaged. It is set at, Not active. I put a check in the box to make it active. Below that there are Bit1 all the way to bit5. I found this DRL setting at 00. There is no Byte 23. Do I put a check in the Bit4 box to make this work?

Should be an option in the radio already. That's the problem there is no option You can access the option view the menu. You have to be on source on the screen for music then hit setting and then volume settings. It’s in there for altering your volume with speed |

Maybe because I have a DSG tune? I think most tunes for ECU/TCU are supposed to make the throttle more responsive so you might not notice much of a difference. I'm not tuned and I noticed a slight difference making the change you did. That change isn't the one that messes with your CC. The change that does that is when you change a value to "Audi". Myself and others all lost CC when we made that change. So if anyone tells you to change from VW to Audi don't do it. I spent months without CC until the dealer figured it out. |

Anyone had the issue that the turn signal ( driver side ) is burning all the time?
I have US lights but they only burn at park lights and low beam.
Anyone some advice or can help me so the turn signal isn't burning anymore with the DRL?

I have the fault code B11E815. Now the left turn signal is working for 2 times approx and when I turn on the us lights they stop burning after 5 seconds approx. Anybody can help me what to do?

sepmk7r: Need much more information: hmm........... what type of turn signal lights do you have (incandescent, or LED)? Which turn signals are you referring to (front, or rear)? What country are you from? Did you enable "US lights", or were they factory fitted? What is the full error message?

Which controller do you think that might be in? I’ve got my VCDS but hadn’t seen anything that stood out. Unfortunately, a number of long coding helpers are not there for e-Golf.
