Has anyone activated/coded travel assist on their vehicle. I’ve seen a thread in the id3 pages. Can anyone share what their long coding was before they changed it and what it’s changed to?

Hi, I’m after doing this myself as I bought the assist drive basic pack and at the time of purchase included the travel assist but didn’t come with it. I’ve seen this on another forum and I’m keen to try it. Hopefully this helps you.
I just coded Travel Assist to my Enyaq. When I ordered car I only had Assisted Drive Basic package which did not include Travel Assist. I did coding using long coding in A5 Driver assistance module. This is the log: Control unit: A5 Driver Assistance Old value: 02 08 30 2E 1F 91 08 E0 06 24 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 New value: 02 08 30 2E 1F 91 10 E4 16 24 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 I tested and Travel Assist worked fine. I already had Travel assist button in my steering wheel and before it did not do anything but now it does. HC_point_of_intervention Old: late New: early_setting_over_menu Emergency_assist_variante Old: Not coded New: Ea variante 2 HC variante Old: Hc_ variante_ 0 New: Hc_variante_2

Same for me - assisted drive package basic, but no travel Assist. However, I only have one button on the right side of the steering wheel...so I could long code this, but I'm not sure if it'll work without the button. I do know that I've got all the tech that's needed though...

I tried the coding as I have the basic pack and the steering wheel button. All I got was yellow warning indicators on the dash and when I pressed the wheel button I got unavailable?

Has anyone else been able to test this configuration? I'm very interested in being able to do it in my car, but I'm afraid it won't work and I might break something.
My car has the Drive Assist Basic and also has the button on the steering wheel to activate it.
Thank you very much for your help!

Hello everyone The question is: How does the thing behave when updating the software to 3.0 if travel assist is turned on via obd, does anyone have experience?

Hello everyone The question is: How does the thing behave when updating the software to 3.0 if travel assist is turned on via obd, does anyone have experience? My car which had OBD11 codings went through 3.0 update couple days ago. Update worked fine but all the codings I had done went back to factory state so I had to do those again after the update.

Can I ask, apart from Travel Assist, what have you been coding with your Enyaq? Just bought the ODB eleven donggle and coded just the travel assist so far. Not sure what else to do with it.

Does anyone know the coding to enable the travel Assist menu and change lane assist?

TA menu comes up when there is something to display - intensity or lane change.
Intensity only works with 3.0 software - with unclear effect in my opinion Lane change assist needs new 12 channel parking assist and new sensors all arond.

I have software version 3.1 will all the parking sensors including the side sensors and blind spot detection. I have enabled travel assist which works. But I want to be able to enable land change assist.

Have a try with HC Variante in A5 then - preferably Variante 5. Also the capacitive steering is mandatory.

Thanks. I have set HC variante to variante 5 and now have lane change option under assistance systems.
I tried it on the motorway and the arrows are just a silhouette. So I am guessing that something else might have to be changed..

As said before: You will need the side sensors (Otherwise you will never get a full "free to change"-state and there is no monitoring that the space the car changes into is still free) You will need a capacitive steering wheel (Otherwise the message "hands on wheel" will never release the lange change) Side assist obviously.
You will also need to travel over 90km/h

Travel assist worked great for me with ver.2.3, I turned it on on the top right button on the steering wheel, today after update 3.0 I had to code again and it works, but when I press that button, it tells me that travel assist is selected and I can only turn it on on the front button of the ACC lever does anyone have a solution to return the possibility to the old button on the steering wheel grateful

3.0 got a different behavior of the TA button. Refer to the manual. TLDR: TA is now kept on, even when acc is disengaged. Switch it on once, then activate ACC eh voila.

If I select Hc_variante 2, I see not the TA option on my navigation screen under assistance options. If I select Hc_variante 5 the TA sign appeared but if you click on it, it say function not available. I got a Enyaq without the KLR steerwheel and not TA button. I replaced the steerwheel for the KLR version with paddles. And coded this in 13 .

In fact, Travel Assist was the only one thing I've managed to do. The rest is either not working ot not needed. I can't still get the welcome screen off!
