Oh, that's a shitty thing... what's your last item in Testmode menu, Skinning Templates? That was the last one for the guy with the Alhambra.
The problem might be either because you both have Discovery and I have Composition, or because I have a newer firmware (I have version 359, you have 241 and the Alhambra has 245). I hope the problem is the firmware version. Maybe you can ask your dealer if there is some software update for your infotainment?
Which version of Green Engineering Menu do you have? I have GEM 4.3.

Light assistant was not included in the package. And today I tried to activate but these Xenon are installed without this function. This is not a problem. I have purchased VCDS diagnostic interface and since there are many options available. My line assistant tested and found that this worked fine. Control units do not show any errors. And Mirrorlink I invented with complete mobile phone mirroring. Tested with Samsung S7 Edge. I like this very well even internet browser during the ride and You tube or Camera App.   free upload website hosting |

Did you change some coding or adaptations to get the complete mirroring? With my Huawei Mirrorlink is not working at all. I've read that you have to make some changes to get the complete mirroring, otherwise only some apps work and video stops when the car is moving. No no additional coding required. Install LG MirrorDrive app from Play Store and disable it for this list. First try to activate mobile phone in the offline mode and then connect with usb. Shortly wait and after a few seconds appears on the display icon with LG MirrorDrive. If you want to disable offline mode, simply ignore it. On Icon, click LG MirrorDrive and ignore offline mode message again. Question only HTC Model and Mirrorlink version? What app do you have?

The with xenon light I still have to look but remote lighting assistant gives it already however if I this function activate control device shows me error and wrong command.

And LG MirrorDrive is not working on my Huawei...

Yes, I thought. And can you activate in Engineering menu Mirrorlink Activate or with Obd in applications? Passat B8 has this option in applications directly to activate.

Mirrorlink is activated on my infotainment MIB2 by default I think. Together with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in the same menu.
The problem I think is that my Huawei isn't Mirrorlink certified, so I have to find another android phone with OK mirrorlink. Or maybe there is a way to activate mirrorlink in my Huawei installing the right app? I don't know, I'll research a little. I have rooted my phone, so maybe there is some app that makes mirrorlink work.

I have the Webasto Sticker in the engine bay so didn't know if we had some more information on what to change to get it enabled from the menu system. Also I have a Samsung S6 but when I try the LG software it just comes up with the message that the software is for LG phones only. Any Ideas?. We have the Apple Car and Android Auto enabled which work great but would like to try the full mirroring.
Thinking of fitting a Towbar, anybody know how to activate the towbar module when its fitted ?

The mirror folding is only working for me the same way as for you. Nevertheless I am pretty sure it can be configured to work with single click, not long press, and to work with Kessy/keyless (I have keyless too). It should be an Adaptation in control unit 09, but I don't want to just start changing values without knowing what each adaptation channel does. I know that there is an Adaptation channel for erasing all the remote controls, and I really don't want to hit that one  I have keyless too by the way. And the parking heater is one of my main goals, it has to be possible to activate, but I find really very little info about it in this or other forums. The difference between fabric installed parking heater and the one that comes with our cars is the receiver for remote control and one valve that separates the motor from the cabin, so the cabin can be warmed up faster. I really think it is better without that valve, I rather wait a little longer and know that the motor is warm when I start the car. I am not having much luck with my android, I have a Huawei and it doesn't work at all. Not working with my older Samsung Note or S5 either... |

Hi there, couple questions regarding my 2016 (facelifted) Sharan.
DRL does not behave like older VAG cars
In parking light position on headlight switch, LED remains full brightness like DRL but with rear lights on.
Tried fiddle with 09 Central Electronics - Byte 24 - Bit 7 Unchecked Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) as Position Lights active, the parking light LED dims while the switch is in that position but it also dims down the DRL to the same level when headlight switch position at 0 or Auto.
Sliding door Kessy issue
When I first get the Sharan I can simply pull the door handle of the sliding doors to trigger the doors to slide open and unlock the car while the car is locked. After retrofitted the "kick-open", I cannot unlock the car via the sliding door handles anymore.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hello If anyone wondered why there is a different range for the temperatures in the A/C unit and want to change it, here is a way to do that. Standard range temp values look like that - Low, 18, ..., 26, HI. This is in Celsius. Extended range temp values look like this - Low, 16, ..., 29,5, HI. This is in Celsius. You go to Control Unit "Air Conditioning", Long Coding 0 Temperature range display - Standard, Extended temperature range display. Select what you desire. Unfortunately this alone does nothing (for me, it could depend on the infotainment thow). And then cupra280 suggested to reset the central display unit (radio infotainment unit) So I started the Radio Unit (The Infotainment), Pushed Menu button, select "Settings", then Factory Setting. I resetted only "System" value. After that I turned everything off, locked the car. Waited a few minutes. Then unlock, ignition ON, and there it was. (this last step may not be needed, it's just something I did) For me it was set to "Standard" and it was not comfortable at all, especially in the summer as the car felt really cold set to 26 degrees. Here temperatures rise to 40+ and when the A/C is set to 26 it could freeze you. Thank you very much for the help and time spended cupra280. |

Hi, I have a swedish plated 2017 VW Sharan GT (184HP 4M). It has almost everything You can put on this model, but it is missing the sign and lane assist functions!
Since it's already equipped with the "Dynamic Light Assist" and therefore also has the necessary camera (FAC) in the windshield, I was thinking about activating the missing functions.
Has anyone succeeded in enabling the missing functions only by coding (I have OBD11 Pro), or is it also neccassary to add/update some hardware?

I've coded this setting on my Alhambra 2016 with navigation. The only thing I've done differently is - that I left the fusion mode on. I see the Road sign recognition in in the asistants' list menu, but after a minute of drive the system throws an error, that the traffic sign recognition is restricted or limited (or something like that). The only thing I didn't set is ....Byte 10 set value 00, because it seems to be wrong on the version with navigation (see the screenshot with coding helper)
I don't see any traffic sign in the navigation anymore and also no signs on MFD. Did you guys manage to successfully code this on the facelifted Alhambra with navigation? Thank you for any help or comments.  Attachments:

Hola estoy interesado en activar las luces traseras con las diurnas delanteras y ya que NO hay aplicación para la Alhambra 2018 como en otros modelos y tampoco puedo entrar en el módulo de centralita electrónica 09 en adaptación sólo con canales. Alguien que lo haya probado me lo podría pasar, gracias a todos.

Thank you very much for the discription. Indeed, I got it working by that code... However, I still get an error message some minutes after the start which says that sign assist does not work fully. Probably due to the fact that I do not have a Navi. Where you able to solve this finally? Second thing: I do not see any additional signs. In older code versions, there seems to be an adaption for additional signs. However, I do not find it in my Alhambra MY 2019. Does this work for you?
And as a last question: Where you able to activate High Beam Assist?

I just bought a Sharan GT from November 2015 with MIB2 and the front camera.
I activate the traffic sign recognition but I only see the road sign in traffic sign menu on ODB and I don’t have the small symbol on the top of the dashboard when I change to other menu.
Is this the same for you?
