Iam planning to install a TPMS in my Golf 7.5.for readout the tyre pressure. The system iam planning to purchase is the antenna 5Q0907273B and the sensors 5Q0907275B Not sure were to buy the system because if i buy on ebay its included with parameterdata, the other aliexpress they dont talk about this parameterdata ? www.ebay.de/itm/Neu-Original-Audi-A3-Golf-7-Tiguan-RDK-Reifendruck-Kontrolle-5Q0907273B-RDK/283828209377?redirect=mobileAbout the coding instruction i understand the tpms will then substitute the existing tyres check. For me i just want to code the new tpms (module 65 i beleave)for reaout on the dasbord without substitutie the existing system. Can anybody tell me if this is possible ? Thanks

juruca : I'm not sure about the Golf 7.5 in particular, but the instructions here describe the installation steps for direct TPMS on an Audi RS3 (I thieved the link from a reply that I received this morning from dannyrs3 about a similar issue - but in reverse). Both your mk7.5 and the Audi RS3 share the same MQB build platform- so the information in the link is pertinent for your project (particularly the coding instructions at the end) Note that both cars use the same sensors, but the antenna in the link is P/N: 8S0907273. The difference between the antenna module in the link and your 5Q0907273B is that the Audi unit also measures tire temperature. I'm not sure if the MIB unit in a mk7.5 has the smarts to accept and display temperature, so I suggest that you stick with the 5Q0 antenna. Definitely buy an antenna that is pre -parameterized (I can't help with where to buy the module) Don

Yes the first it is the Javier Xagico manual. For me the more complete of all. If you have any doubt please ask.
We help you.

Everbody thanks for the information!
Still have some questions for you guys:
1- If i buy the set from aliexpres is the antenne parameterised ? If not how you do this ?
2- How to use vcp and how to load this file to the antenne ?
3- For me dont want to disturb the existing indirect-TPMS sytem, for me i only want the pressure indications in the dashboard not disable the indirect system(this system is error free).
4- What is the difference between the antenna nummer(5Q0907273B) which end with 'B' or 'N' or some i see with no letter ending.
For your information i only have obd eleven ultimate available.
Thx in advance!

Hi. The link I send to you have parametrization. You only must to codificate some controls units. It is very simple. The minimum alert pressure is 2.3
If you want modify parameters you can use vcp or odis. There is a file in internet to make the file for load with this systems.
This system don’t have errors. The indirect system is a system based in a routine from the abs. Is an emulation nearly the reality pressure of the wheels.
The golf 7.5 or 7 uses the B antenna. I don’t know for what are the rest.
OBDeleven is enough for the codification.
The vw service have odis. But don’t have to parametrize nothing

Carolco : You mean the link from aliexpres ? this antenne have parametrization included ? And what is the pressure indication between the brackets on each wheel ?? Thx!

Yes it is parametrized.
Each wheel have 2.3

Oke, Thx! (2.3) is the low alarm setting.
Today i ordered the set you suggested from ali.
What extra options do you get in the menu from the media system ?
Maybe a picture ?

Today received the TPMS set home.
Tomorrow try to install the sensors in the wheels.
But does it matter which sensor you install on which position or how does the system know which sensor is placed where ?
How to do ? Thx!

Install a sensor in each wheel. The antenna receive the signals.
Make the installation of sensors in the wheels.
Make the installation of the antenna. I installed in the outside of rear part or the car. In the side of passenger. Near of the wheel, where you have any holes to hold the antenna. Use clamps to hold the antenna.
Connect the wires. Can high, can low, fuse for positive of 10 amp and mass.
Codificate the proper units, 5F, 19, 17 and 03.
The unit 65 appears. Go with the car to make some meters, for antenna detect the wheels sensors, and taste it.
If an error appears in any of the units I tell you clean errors and try again a little meters with the car. In my case the firs time the antenna used 1 km for show the tire pressures.

Thanks for your explanation but do you know how the system knows which sensor is located in which wheel position ??

Finaly had time to install and code the tirepressure system. sofar so good but after coding i ONLY have the tirepressure info in the virtual display. In the head unit only the car visible but no data available, even after reboot the head unit. Anybody an tip what i did wrong ? thanks in advance! There the steps for coding i did: Step 1: Module 19: activeer module 65 - Tire Pressure Save coding DEACTIVEREN DE INDIRECTE TPMS: Module 17: Instruments Long coding: Byte 4, Bit 0 > set to zero (deactiveer indirect TPMS, Installed) Step 2: Visualiseren van de bandendrukken in dashboard: Module 17: Instruments Long coding: Byte 3, Bit 0 > set 1 (Tire Omtrek) Stays on 0 !! Long coding: Byte 3, Bit 7 > set 1 (Wheel speed error counter active) Long coding: Byte 11,Bit 2 > set 1 (TPMS info (BAP) Installed) Step 3: Module 03: ABS Long coding: Byte 27, Bit 4,5 en 6 > set on 0.(was all 1) Long coding: Byte 28, Bit 7 > set on 0.(was 1) Step 4: Module 5F: Infomation in Virtual Cockpit, Access code 20103 Adaptions: Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2: Tire_pressure_system_0x07 > activate Tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus Change 'Suspension data bus' > 'Databus extend' Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2: menu_display_rdk > activate. menu_display_rdk_standstill > NOT activated. menu_display_rdk_over_threshold_high > activate. End

Recently i discoverd another thing... It seems that my front tirepresseres are shown on the rear side off the car and the rear tires are shown on the front ?? Anyway left is left and right is right thats no problem. I know i can swap the wheels But how to change this without swapping wheels ? I hope anybody can help me solve this problem. Thx

jurucavw : I'm just guessing, but I would have thought that each sensor (in the valve-stem of the wheel) would be individualized for the position on the car. So if I'm correct, simply swapping the sensors (not the wheels) from the front of the car to the rear (keep left/right-side sensors the same) would solve your problem - I think? Don

The location problem is solved. I put the antenne in the front bumper because i removed it so i thought i put it there. But after a tip i remove it to the right rear behind the rear wheel. Now it works fine

VW Golf GTI MK7 2015// Good night everyone, I've already done the entire installation and configuration procedure as instructed, everything worked out, I showed the tire pressure after walking a bit, but when I stop the car and turn off the ignition and turn it on again, there's a fault in the panel and multimedia screen indicates unavailable pressure indication. if anyone can help me, I'm very grateful.

have u connected the TPMS module to a permanent power source? i followed the XaGiCo instructions, for a MK7 Golf, to retrofit direct to TPMS to my Skoda Superb and it all went well i tapped into the permenant 12V boot power source for mine.

Hi, I've installed everything but the module 65 doesn't show up in obdeleven. Exactly where should I be looking for this module 65? Car is 2020 Cupra Leon.

schulze : This is a problem with the Gateway Installation List. You need to tell the Gateway module that you have installed a new module and to register the module for operation on the car's CAN network. Read my reply HEREDon
