Hi, I have to replace my Comfort module, seems it drains the battery over night and I get a bunch of faulty codes. Can anyone pin point me how I copy old module codes to the new one?
Best regards

Long coding can be copied and pasted from your history file using this method forum.obdeleven.com/post/8922 on 2014 plus cars, I a afraid I dont have access to any UDS Cars so cant confirm if that still works for them. However adaptions I am afraid is manual coding one by one.

Ok, tanks. Will look at that. Is there possible to just code door comfort handles not to work? Just so they not keep draining the battery? I don’t use it anyway, open and locking car by key fob all the time anyway. Maybe by this way I can rule out if it is them or not causing the drain.

Sorry I dont know (as this is not my car) but if you are happy to paste up a backup of your comfort system (control unit 46 from memory) happy to have a look through and see if I can see anything obvious.
The other common issue I see on Audi forums is new battery not being coded correctly - have you replaced the battery recently Old battery on the way out - have you checked you battery to make sure its fully charged and holding the charge Alternator causing issues - so your battery is not getting charged up. And the one you suspect that a control unit is not closing down properly and causing a drain
The last one I saw was a guy who had door panel lights where the previous owner had done some jerry wiring and had not put on any insulation so it was earthing out when the wires touched so was not a constant / regular drain.

Yes, replaced the battery today but could not do any coding due to the other topic in here about that issue. I have ordered a new door sensor because I found a fault code for rear left door, but it is not a active One., gonna replace it anyways, see if it will help. I do hope my new battery will do the trick.
