Anyone know what all these options are for exterior lighting?
Values shown are for a US car with matrix LED (not HD)
I tried to switch the beam pattern to ECE (from SAE) and the headlights reset (dipped down and back up), but stayed the same pattern (I was hoping to get the ECE pattern with more light on the upper right side)
The only other one that is obvious is the last one "always low beam with ignition"
Also I highlighted a "remote start" option in long coding in case anyone is looking for that.

I'm not that daring yet to try the remote start. I just found it interesting that it was there in long coding as supposedly Audi says no to remote start.
It would be good to see what our brothers in Europe have for their headlights (if they have matrix LED, non-HD version) to see if I could at least get the ECE pattern).
It is simply a wish to get the matrix headlights to actually work, but so far I have heard that is a no-go from Audi to allow us to turn it on in the USA. Quite a shame to have the tech, but it's not on.

I have non-HD matrix LED here in europe.
Indeed nees to set to ECE and variant 2.
Everything on the coding in STG 09 seems the same.
Only thing i don’t see in your list is this
“High beam functions = Matrix beam”
That’s what its set at, at my car

denbalThanks for the info and help. I checked Headlight coding was already set to "variant 2" High beam functions was set to "matrix beam" already I gave it a try again to set as ECE with headlights on and headlights off (engine off this time, hood up, parking brake on). Unfortunately no change. I did see these other setting in STG 09: Highbeam config - which was set to "not active" (other options "reserved" "separate highbeam" "highbeam for additional highbeam flasher" I also checked STG D6 and D7 for left and right lighting and the Light Distribution is set to "not active" where there were "Light Distribution 1" to "Light Distribution 5" available However, I think I will lay low on this and keep the SAE pattern vs the ECE pattern. thanks again.
