Hello! I accidentally did a reset of my brakes from Basic settings within OBD11. Replaced the brake pads and did not think the coding threw and I messed up. Atm I have several fault codes due to the Brake Module not coded correctly.
What I have tried to do:
Tried going back to my History and god the full Value of the Long Coding part so I have the full "Before value"
- But when trying to replace all the 000000 HEX in the long coding - with my value it will not accept the coding when trying to apply it the Security code access window popup but it will not accept any of the logins.
- Tried resetting and did a basic settings part of the Steering Assistance, with a bit of google search but then when going back to the brake module and putting in the brake value it still wont work.
How can I fix this problem? Im a bit out of ideas atm, so any help will be very helpful.
*Sorry if this post is placed wrong.
Thanks in advanced

evoloan not my car but some things that may help. Firstly I presume you have not tried lots of different security codes as it is possible to lock the control unit out, if this is the case then you need to have the engine running for a period of time - sorry cant recall the actual time but seem to recall its 15 minutes. Secondly have you tried changing the diagnostic sessions - some say that Development mode is one to try but worth trying them all. Thirdly are you copying the whole string or doing it one Byte at a time. either way just try the other option just in case. Lastly and i have no idea why any of these things work but might be worth a try. Some people have said stuff did not work they then did a full scan and tried again and it worked - dont expect it to work but cost nothing to try The other option is a) do a data clear on the app and or b) remove the app and reinstall.

Thanks a lot for the information. I will try all the things you said I might have some luck. When putting in the value I do hex for hex or byte for byte. I can figure out to put in the whole value at once. The resent error im getting is "Function not available" when putting in any value inte the long code.
Hexadec:

Did have a look there and tried to pressing and hex and copy pasted the old value, but it says its to large. Can only put in 2 of the numbers and not the whole code. Wierd :/.

Its not the easiest bit of coding they have done. If you select a specific hex then you will get the too long message because you are trying to post the whole string into a 2 character box. If you select the white line but dont actually touch any of the hex numbers you will see this sort of screen then you can paste it, I have not done this for a while so just went and tried it still works just a bit fiddly trying not to hit one of the hex numbers.

Thanks a lot for the help! I did all the steps u said and somehow I got the code in. Luck or opportunity I have no idea, but im just happy it worked. And lesson learned Now I only have to get the Steering Angle sensor working correct. But the tutorials was pretty extended online. So that should be fine I think. Thanks a lot tho.
