Hi there, I have VW Golf mk6 2012. I’m about to install door exit lights on all doors. OBD11 app is saying that for that retro fit I need to use pin 10 and pin 13 on 16 pins connector – but it doesn’t say which is ‘+’ and which is ‘-‘. Additionally online all retrofits say to use “+” positive wire into the 4th position and “-“ negative wire into the 14 position. I’m confused, could anyone advise.

Hi I did installed door puddle lights for my golf 2012 by following this thread www.golfmk6.com/forums/index.php?threads/door-warning-lights-added-notes.249888/In obdeleven app into retrofit parts section it does say that we need to use pin 10 and 13 but actually we don't unless your golf has got 16 pin connector . I am sure your golf has got 20 pin connector. Make sure you have got correct wiring harness for back doors. just follow the link and you will be good to go Kind regards Raf

Hi raf, thanks for link. To be honest I've never took of door panels so I'm not sure what connector is there.
I will go with your link and will give it a go.
Thanks again!
