What do you mean exactly ?
You have parking sensors front and back ?
You want them to activate automatically when you come near an obstacle or ?

From fabric I have 4 back sensors and It sounds when an obstacle is detected.
By the way i can see the 4 front sensors are installed and im sure that they can be activated. Also the Audi park assist (sounds and screen info about obstacles).

Also sensors on the front from factory, but not working ??

hello denbal. congratulations for the work done. I can't find the adaptations you posted on obd11. also work on q3 of 2019 no sportback? example: view engine data in stg 17 I can't find it. where am i wrong? does it also work on a 10 "cockpit or only on the 12" plus? thank you |

In my Q3 2019 engine data does not work. I have the 10" virtual cockpit (not the basic, but the intermediate that allows you to change the view)

Works on both normal and sportback, Only thing is, engine data display doesn’t seem to work on 2019 models. Display comes on, but doesnnt show any data. Just like the A6 and A7, cars from 2020 and up DO work. Our Q3 is 2020 2.0TDI with the most enhanced virtual cockpit. But it should also work on the 10” (if newer then 2019) Also doesn’t work on my A6 2019, while i know people with A6 and A7 2020 with working engine data. So really seems to be year-dependent |

Hey and welcome,
Unfortunately dynamic turn signals, front or back, can’t be coded.
This is totally different hardware and can’t be turned on with simple codings.

Hi, I am new on this, I have a 2019 Q3 I would like to have the reversing sensors display on the MMI. They are working only bleeps. Also wonder if the front sensors could be activated with the right vcds coding.

Hey there,
From what i understand, you now only have the small parking-assistance ?
Only on the rear ?
And they only beep without optical display ?
If this is the case, you can try
STG 75 - parking assistance
Adaptions
Visual display for park assist
Change to “OPS Display”
Please let me know if this worked for u, so i can update the thread.
Our Q3 has original front and back sensors, and backup camera, so it has is from factory allready.

Yes from models end 2018 till now, hood needs to be open, and handbrake applied.
Engine off, ignition on for most coding

I am also interested in that, when i bought the car i tried with the dealership technician to activate but only managed to show the car in the MMI screen when putting reverse, so no indications next to the bumper are shown... any help would be welcome, the technician did not know how to do more (ow yes...) I succesfully coded the optical view on A1 2010 , A4 2008 and Q3 2014.
All of them having only the rear sensors with sound.
Unfortunately it’s not always possible, and sometimes it just show the car without adding the lines from the sensors.
I would need an Q3 2018+ to look at what options there are

Thank you for your reply David Yes you can code in the menu for more colors, but the lights themself don’t change. The white ambient light is producee with only 1 projector light. The multicolor is created by 3 projectors RGB. So not possible without hardware mods |

Any body know if there’s anyway to make the ambient lighting brighter using the obd device ? I think they’re rather dull compared to other cars I’ve seen recently and I think it will make it better if they’re brighter .
