I was hoping for a display that showed the tire location and some sort of signal such as green or red to indicate which tire is good or bad for tire pressure, but it looks as if this is tied to if the car has actual sensors in the wheel/tire setup, maybe for the RS6 models?

2 step setup:

17 - Dashboard
Long coding

Tire Pressure Monitoring display

Change from “no” to “yes”

17 - Dashboard
Long coding
Tire Pressure Monitoring, BAP Distance
Change from “no” to “yes”

This assumes this is already activated:

17 - Dashboard
Long coding
Tire Pressure Monitoring
Value: “yes”

It would display pressure and temperature - unfortunately it does not work without additional coding that I have yet to find

One more thing, this shows up in the Menu options under "sport"

Thanks I figured it needed the in tire sensor and receiver in the car, I just thought it was interesting.

It would be nice if using the ABS sensors they could show green for good and other color for issues using the system we had (I was hoping when I tried it maybe that was the case).

I tried in my A6 and It works fine. I have tpms plus.

Thanks for letting us know, and glad it worked in your car. Unfortunately in some countries there aren't sensors in the wheels (and possibly no receiver for those sensors either). TPMS uses the ABS sensors to detirmine if one tire has a different rotational value than the rest to determine if it is going flat.

The good thing about it is you don't need sensors for a second set of wheels/tires, the bad thing is that you can't monitor pressures.

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT
