I was able to get this Engine Power and Torque diplay to show on the Virtual Cockpit, however, it doesn't change to show any power or torque changes as you are driving.
I was wondering if anyone could figure out what other settings need to change.
This shows in the menu under "sport" items which is a new menu item (also contains the G meter, and a TPMS display, see separate thread on TPMS display) Coding is: 17 Dashboard
Long coding
Engine Data Display
Change from “no” to “yes”
Not sure if there is BAP function that needs to be activated, or some other function to make this work but would be a great addition.

On newer models it might work maybe.
Seems like the new Q3 got this working so maybe on a C8 from 2020 it will be funtionally too .
Not sure on this

Okay, thanks for confirming.
Seems like the Q3 ok MQB platform has all the sensors, while our C8 doesn’t 😅

Sensors?!
This parameters are ECU calculated and you can see it in measured values of ECU.
Probably constant output this data to CAN should be enabled by ECU coding or not supported by this ECU type. Also this data should be sended between different gateway busses and gateway should support it.

Well on most cars it only works on S and RS. Therefor various members of this forum assume it has something to do with sensors that are not present. On a Q3 it works perfect without any other coding. But if you know more about it to get it working on C8 platform, please share  |

you need to install the Chinese module to make it work, it cost around 200$ and require about 30min installation on the Gateway
