Hello there, Does anybody know if it is possible to set mirrors to fold/close automatically? I have mirrors with a folding button and they work, but I want to close them when I lock the car, or with long press of remote control. I found a topic for golf vii here, but it doesn't work. When I open control module 42 and 52, three is no Coding / Adaptation menu in Obdeleven. If I open the Test menu for these modules, one of the tests actually folds the mirrors, this makes me think that automatic closing should be possible. I hope someone knows anything about it. Hi - unfortunately this is not possible at Touran 1T3 via softcoding - you need a tool able to flash the EEPROM of the module 42 (driver door) like Vag Can Pro or VAS - ODIS or simply change the module with one who accepts the coding.

Let's bump this old thread.
Is this still not possible for Touran (2014)? There _is_ Coding available on Control module 42. There is a list of items (like +00004096 Mirror folding), but at least I can't find a way how to enable/activate those. All you can do on that view, is to put a "new value", but I don't understand what value that is and what does it do.

That is pretty easy let me show you an example:
Control Unit XX
Current value is: +00009
List of options i have:
NOTE: This list is for my Audi A3.
No guarantee that you car has the same options/values!
+00001 - Remote unlocking tailgate
+00008 - Internal door handle lighting
+00016 - Automatic run
+00032 - Mirror heating
+00064 - Door exit / warning light
+00128 - Body variant (4-door)
+00256 - seat memory
+00512 - right hand drive
+01024 - SAFE motor
+02048 - Anti-trap
I want to add mirror heating: +00032
To get that feature all i have to do is add both values.
00009
+00032
=00041
So my new value is 00041 with mirror heating on.

I am glad that i could help you  Before you change anything make a backup and check what features/values are already in your "old" value. Hopefully it works now. |

Got folding working, you're the man Mirrors now fold from a nob on drivers door. Would it be possible to get mirrors fold also when locking the doors...? |
