With all the BS surrounding us in this crazy time, I noticed why people are getting dragged out of cars and peacefully beaten to death. When one is driving and comes to a stop, the locks do not unlock. Place the vehicle in PARK and the door locks open. This lets people on the outside open the doors and creating an issue. Is there any way to bypass this scenario in programming? Basically don't open the locks when you put it in park.

Doors unlock when driver door handle pulled, not when shift to park
09 Central Electrics Adaptation ZV Autolock Autounlock NAR Change from Active to Not Active
If that doesn’t work try:
09 Central Electrics Security Code 31347 Adaptation ZV Autolock Default Value automatisches Entriegein: active Change value automatisches Entriegein: not active

Reihenmotor5 - this turns off the unlock when shifting to park, but it doesn’t actually unlock all the doors when the driver door is unlocked. Having the key in my pocket I can obviously open and unlock the back doors after I get out, but if my wife is grabbing our son from the back seat without, the key, you still have to manually unlock the doors first. Any thoughts or updates on this one?

I believe it may be a result of KESSY on the rear doors.
To follow up, I say that because I noticed that with the lock while ignition running mod behaves differently than when I had my 2019 Tiguan. The 2019 Tiguan does not have KESSY rear doors and when you enabled that mod the only way to enter the vehicle was by unlocking with the keyfob. Now on the Atlas you can just walk up to the vehicle and unlock using the door handles. So it makes me think for both of these mods that the rear doors having KESSY has some impact on the outcome/functionality.

Ah yeah that does make sense that it would impact it somehow. I set it back to the original just because it’s more of an inconvenience especially if both driver and passenger get out and passenger is grabbing something from the back seat and the door is still locked. Appreciate all your contributions both here and Vortex.

Thank you first of all. I will try the adaptation this weekend! I don't want the doors to be able to be opened from the exterior when the car is placed in "Park". Seems dangerous during these peaceful protests when people are dragged out of their cars.
