Hi guys,
I have just got me new R-Line Edition 2.0TDI "Mondestein Grau/Schwarz".
There are a lot of annoying things in this car, most of them can be modfied with OBD11, but here I want to highlight what drives me crazy a lot:
- welcome and goodbye messages - any way to get rid of them?
- message "there could be more mobile keys to your car" - something like that, stays forever, we can only do 'OK'
- air recirculation - it does not remember the state. I live in very polluted area, and when I turn it on I expect it will be on forever
- Air Care microparticles filter - every time I turn on engine, I must turn it on. What a moron designed this?? OMG.
- it DOES NOT keep the driving mode (in such an expensive car it should be something obvious!). It shows the icon, but the DSG does not behave as expected. Even in Individual mode. Need to re-engage every time
- NO CLOCK on main digital cockpit. This is a joke by VW. This is stupid, lame and they should be punished. I need just current time IN FRONT of me.
- Infotaiment HOTSPOT. I have bought 25 gigs from Cubic and the Speedtest says 1-4 Mbit's, mostly 1 on download. WTF? Changing simply to mobile data in the phone, it shows normal LTE speed, like 10-80MBit depending on area.
- whole Infotaiment is SLOW as hell. When it loads, it can't even scroll smoothly.
I don't know, but my friend with Skoda Kodiaq have it all much faster and reliable, and most of above does not exist, because it just works.
I'm - for now - very disappointed with this car. The only thing which keeps me calm is the FANTASTIC engine 240PS and the sport seats ;-)
