Looking to understand the relationship of the illumination of the Instrument Cluster, Dash controls, and Apple CarPlay displaying Daylight / Nighttime theme.
2016 GTI SE w/ lighting & performance package.
Right now I’ve found a way to illuminate them during the day with the light knob position set to DRL, but they do not illuminate during the day on Auto, and the CarPlay maps are always in dark mode.
My goal is to have Instrument Cluster & Dash Controls ALWAYS illuminated day & night when the light position set to Auto (without pulling it for fogs). During the day I want CarPlay maps to stay on the light theme.
Side note also is there a way to enable Side Cornering with blinkers & turns when fogs are on?
