Just purchased a new Audi Q8, and I would like to disable the Stop/Start function which is very annoying. I went to annotations for Central Electronics (Module 9), and scrolled though the options. The first one was Deactivation of start stop function. When selected said "There are no items available for this option". I found a second one called Deactivation of start stop function (Climate Control). When selected said it was not active, and said to slide control to write code. Does anyone know of any methods to disable the start stop for a 2020 Audi Q8?

Disabling Start/Stop is currently not possible with 2020 models.
The only way at the moment is to buy and install a start/stop memory module.

Is it still possible to activate a memory coding so it remembers the last state it was in before turning the vehicle off? Back in the days on other audis that was possible.

Not possible. Even if you turn it off with OBDeleven, it comes back after you cycle ignition.

Disabling Start/Stop is currently not possible with 2020 models. The only way at the moment is to buy and install a start/stop memory module. Sorry for reply to an older thread, but is this possible with a 2019 Q8? I didn't see an app for it. I've seen an OBDeleven video showing an app, but I didn't see the app with my OBDeleven that I just received. Thanks. |

rcbjr2 i'm not quite sure. If you have the PRO version you can try the coding to disable start/stop.

For new A4/A5 is OK. |

As of October 31, 2021, it’s impossible to disable start/stop or remember last setting for start stop on 2019+ Q8 and 2020+ Q8/SQ8/RSQ8.
