Hello. Can anyone please help me figure out how i can turn off the door chime when you open the door while the engine is running? Looked everywhere and cant figure it out.
I also want to be able to lock the car with my key fob while the engine is running. Cant find the solution to the anywhere either.
My car is a 2014 Audi A6. I believe the mmi is 3g
Thank you

Not my car but on my MQB Platform you use the following coding
1 - Module 17 - Instrument panel - Code (25327) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Ignition active message, actuator - (Change value to No display)

I cant find that option under adaptations or even under long coding. No mention of actuator or ignition active. The only thing i can see under long coding is the “key warning” which i disabled but it still didnt stop the door chime

SORRY YOUR CAR IS BUILT ON DIFFERENT PLATFORM
Sorry not got a definitive answer but there appears to be a lot of people saying if you change the dashboard language to German it stops.
Just do some searching for VCDS Coding or VAG COM for door chime

Did you managed to keep the engine running and lock the car with the remote? My ex BMW F11 has this option and for me were a lot of useful.

Everything is done by module 46
Go to (46 Comfort Systems), first in adaptation, Channel 98, Change the 1 to 0.
Then, again module (46 Comfort System), Extended Coding, In Byte 15 set bits 0 and 3.
this should work. you're welcome

Thank you Toimari!
I tried this in my '15 S6. The "Go to (46 Comfort Systems), first in adaptation, Channel 98, Change the 1 to 0." --> Definitely turned off the door chime for me.
I am not entirely sure the 2nd part "Then, again module (46 Comfort System), Extended Coding, In Byte 15 set bits 0 and 3." in the extended coding is necessary or functional. I tried the door chime in between and it was already off so it didn't seem to affect the door chime and wouldn't allow me to actually start the car with the engine running.
