Hello everyone,
Does someone how to code to close the tailgate with the keyfob on allspace 2019?
- I know already that for security measures from the 3rd row seats, doesn't work.
Is there a way to bypass that?

Need the parameters for a 5 seater and use a tool like VCP to load. Then code properly to close from your keyfob and door switch.

You’re welcome! I’ll only add having kids myself is all it takes is some kid putting their fingers up in that area and bye, bye fingers or let’s say a dog with a tail up whether you use the 3rd row or not. There’s a good reason why it’s not enabled. Just putting it out there as something to think about. All it takes is a slip of the mind on the closers part and we all know kids aren’t smart at times.

You need VCP to get the 5 seater parameter in order to flash that module from a 7 seater to 5 seater and then you can perform the necessary coding. This can’t be done by OBD11 alone.

No because I haven’t and won’t perform this mod. All it takes is for some kid or animal in the 3rd row to stick their hand or tail up and goodbye appendage. There’s a reason this is disabled.

There is pinch protection strips... it won't close if touch something ...

Good day! I have a Tiguan 2 (2018). There is an electric trunk lid. There is only one button on the lid. The key fob only opens, but cannot be closed. How to encode using OBDEleven2? My OBDEleven2 block B7 does not see (it may be?). Help! Thank you in advance!

Do you have a third row? If so that is why the keyfob will not close the lid for safety reasons. The third row is best for kids and small adults. All it takes is a kid to reach up in the hinge area and it’s closed with e keyfob and we know sadly what may happen next. This can’t be changed through coding.

You can close it from driver's seat using the pull up button in your door pull up and hold it.
Only works with engine running
