This is my first time to see the P button not the AI button. What is the part number for this?

Except from one or a few errors - is your park assist now fully functional??

i've a question : why we didn't activate any byte in 01 module or 02 because when i check the blockmap a see "ipa gearbox function = no "
Do you have an idee where we can activate this?
For the moment i didnt have yet the SWA function and i think my odometer error was from this missing. (I need to remove my réar bumper and seat :/ So maybe next week with motivation ^^)

I believe we have talk to matt (if I recall correctly ), he is the guy that got most closely to active the function.

Hi,
after buy one hour on erwin,(wich is really very informative but in german. And i choose spanish at school :,( if someone have some basics...)
What I understood:
We need corner front/rear sensor as i assumed. "FRONT:4N0 997 669 F and REAR:4N0 907 566 E"
After that "stp"(normaly) and ipa can be used because we've all module for autonome parking.
A6/A8 are absolutely the same module. Except the "13 module sensor" not at the same place.
I'ld like to know Who have bought/or order the button?

I don't think A6 has this radar. For the rear one, any car with blind spot assist will have that radar. I really want to buy that button but they are not going to sell that in Canada.

Did you have errors before adding the button, or just after? Does the park assist button show up on the lower MMI screen for you? Wish I could get my hands on a button, alas no luck in the US

mattThe button is available in the US from europrice.us. He quoted me $165 plus shipping. I've used him for parts before and it's always quick and well priced. (as well priced as Audi parts can be.) I was holding off on buying one myself until you gave us the word you got it working. 😂

There is no product page, you just email him with the Audi part number you want and he'll quote you.

Hey guys,
i've coded everything like been said here. De soft button pops up on the lower screen, and also in the areaview-screen.
I can activate it, and it does seem to find parking spots. But also asks for the AI button then.
The button is ordered and i expect it by the end of the week. Very curious if someone has a fully working park assist yet ?
Because i'm having brake problems with the manouver assist, i assume this will also starts playing up with the park assist unfortunately.

Installing the button was a breeze. I had removed the console once before to upgrade the cup holder assembly. I wrote up the below for anyone unsure of the process. 2019 A6 Parking Assist Button Installation: This will take 30 minutes to an hour to complete. 1. Slide driver and passenger seats back and as low as possible. 2. Remove the snap on side panels from the center console, starting at the forward end (under the dash). - You can leave the rear end of the panels connected to the rear storage compart for easy reassembly. 3. Disconnect large Molex connector on each side of the center console. 4. Using a Torx 20 bit (I think it was a 20) to remove 2 screws on each side of the console (1 forward, 1 rear end). 5. Pop screw cover out from the bottom of the cup hold and remove the T20 screw. 6. Remove the gear shift knob. a. Remove snap-on trim from the top of the shifter knob. b. Remove T20 screw c. Remove shifter knob by pulling straight up (the leatherette is attached and will pop out of the console with the knob). 7. Lift the console up a few inches from the rear end (i.e., at the storage compartment). - Before lifting too far, reach under and disconnect the black parking break wiring connector from bottom of the console. 8. Carefully pull out console enough to turn on it's side and disconnect the cable from rear of existing switch assembly, and the final cable from behind the monitor (use a soft cloth to protect the screen). - Disconnecting the final cable is optional, but this makes it much easer to change the switch. If you disconnect the final cable, you can take the whole console to your workbench or kitchen table... 9. Disconnect the three connectors on the rear of the existing switch assembly. 10. Push the old switch assembly forward until it pops out of the console. 11. Remove the old switch from the switch module assembly by releasing four tabs with a small flat head screw driver - replace with new switch. 12. Follow above steps in reverse to re-install the console. 13. Turn on ignition and Test! Verify the parking break error and any other dash errors clear. 14. Done!

I saw that too, but am very skeptical. I've never seen a discount that steep on an Audi part. Let us know when it arrives so we can all jump on it if it's the right one.

Fantastic, thanks for the update! $99 is an acceptable gamble to see if we can get the coding working. If you do the install yourself, let us know how it goes.

Good news from Kufatec but it seems that they are not ready with this retrofit kit since they are looking for a beta tester and this kit is not for sale yet. The price is attractive but it includes the trial installation in their HQ in Bad Segeberg. What worries me a bit is that their retrofit kit includes also additional wiring harness. Does it mean that "P" button and appropriate coding is not enough?

Excellent!!!! Did it work? Not yet. I have some static errors from the steering assist controller (44), and the Parking Assist icon is grayed out, so I can't search for a parking place. When I press the button, I get a message on the instrument panel advising to select a parking place first. So, work in progress...
