Hi,

I used the Android app to activate some features on a new California t6.1. The app asked me to update the gateways and I thought it was an app update I confirmed.

Now in history I find this thing, can you explain what it is?

Did I change something important that shouldn't be touched?

Can I restore the previous setting?

plinplin did you do the update using an android phone or ios one.

If it was android then what happens if in settings you have Autocode gateway turned on it checks to see if you have any control units turned on that the car has that you have not got turned on or it will remove any control unit that you have enabled that do not exist on your car.

From my playing around with IOS I have not yet seet this feature (but happy to be proved wrong) and in IOS you (again as far as I know) cant add control units in manually.

However in Android it is possible to thurn it back on again.

Thank you for the answer. Before I had used iOS app for all codings, then since I didn't find something I used my son's Android to see if it was different and at the opening he asked me to do this update.

I have seen that the iOS app is actually less complete than the Android app, but I'm still satisfied.
